One Pastor on TBN preached that Satan doesnt have the power to curse. All curses are from God, the flip side of His blessing. Our actions determine whether we receive the curse or the blessing side. He referenced Deuteronomy 30. See link for your convenience. http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/deuteronomy/deuteronomy30.htm
The pastor on the next show (BVOV) preached that all sickness, death, disease etc are Satan's curses for mankind. We allow him to curse us when we are not first seekiing God. He said that God's not cursing us, God wants us and designed us to be carefree in all things. He designed our bodies in such a way that "strife will wither bones"; we are designed to live in blessing only. Satan is operating on us and within us to curse us. The only people God intends to burden are those ministers he has anointed with the sword.
What do you think? Are curses from God or Satan? Are they real? Have you been cursed? How did you defeat the curse?

All good/evil things come from God.
'I form light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.' - Bible, Isaiah 45:7
Yes, that's the King James Version. That version is the closest to the language used in the Qumran Papyri (Dead-Sea Scrolls). He didn't say 'I make peace and cause calamity'. Do some research if you're so devout...
Think about this. The christians lovingly refer to their devil, Satan, as the 'Prince of Darkness'...
If that's the case, then who's the 'King of Darkness'? Honestly, to say that all bad things come from the Devil is to give him too much power. Get his cock out of your mouths. ALL things come from God. ALL THINGS.

I believe curses are real but they aren't necessarily from God or from Satan alone. The bible says the power of life and death are in the tongue. God spoke words and the universe was created and we have similar power because we can speak blessings and curses and they can come true. When we speak negative things about our selves or others they do come true. Therefore we should only speak positive things and should never gossip about people to avoid curses. There is a good book about different curses and how to break them called "10 Curses That Block The Blessing" by Pastor Larry Huch.

particular God cursed human beings in the Bible. interest includes concepts. additionally the undesirable words on which he threw Adam and Eve out of Eden advantageous gave the impression of a curse (to any extent further discomfort and stressful paintings and so on.) to boot, God claims that he makes each little thing. sturdy and undesirable no count what that's comes from Him ( i do no longer bear in concepts the financial disaster and verse yet that's on the instant from the Bible). As for the pastor guy on television, those adult men will say something to get some thing from you (usually money). Ask a query of any 2 theologians and get 3 solutions. ALL scriptures are open to interpretation. Your wager is as sturdy as all people's.

The bible says in Malachi 3:8-9 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. God will send a curse where there is disobedience. Robbing him in tithes and offerings is one. The other curses may come from just being a sinner, that means living life without God. Being saved from our sins puts us in right standing with God and will allow us to be free from curses. The devil can only do what God allows him to do. If you are cursed disobedience caused it and sinning against God is being disobedient. It is God's will that all repent of their sins and be saved. That is how you defeat the curse getting saved the bible way, not man's way. God bless you!

Televangelism is the worst thing to ever happen to Christianity, (well that and George Bush). Don't ever listen to pastors on television. They only want your money and they could care less about you. That, and they can't stop molesting children, sleeping with hookers, or just having some gay sex long enough to actually read the bible. I think the more important thing you should be looking for is why god allows bad things to happen to good people. Anyone worth their salt could tell you the answer to that one, but it only really has any meaning when you find it out for yourself.

The last we heard from god was in the time of the prophet Malachi, when god was thinking of smiting the earth with a curse.
Cursing is one of god's favorite punishments. He always curses people in groups, and has never figured out how to punish people individually.
