I just read a bunch of questions from people who think Jesus is real. Where are they coming from all of a sudden?

I know there are a lot of nutty church people in this society, but they don't usually come on here do they?

What's going on, all the fanatics discovering Yahoo Answers? Will they be coming on here in droves?

So now I must ask the question "Is Jesus Imaginary?" and see what comes up.

Next I'll be asking: "Does God hate Neanderthal fossils?" That's one of my favorite.

Then I'll ask: "Is Jesus dead or alive? If he's alive, what exactly did he sacrifice?"

He is universally imaginary to all normal, educated intelligent people.

Jesus is even better than anything imaginary.

Not sure where they're coming from but I like them ;)

They've been here as long as I have, probably longer

I'm sure what's goin on, or what is going to happen

see above

I'm thinkin He might.

He is alive. He sacrificed His life so that we too could be alive. Just as we will sacrifice our life so we might also enter heaven.
Which in the end, isn't really a sacrifice after all. It's an everyone wins deal.

regardless of if Genesis were metaphor/allegory, Jesus did not die for Adam's sin. Jesus died for all people to exhibit them what we must be keen to do to achieve salvation. we are no longer forgiven because he died on the bypass, that theory infecting Christianity is diabolically oppossed to each and everything Jesus taught. the in trouble-free terms route to salvation, Jesus taught, is through living a righteous moral existence. The devil's workers will torture and brutalize, they might even carry you on a bypass for days in the nice and cozy solar and go away you to conflict through till demise. yet even once you've the flexibility to take action, do not enhance a militia to wrestle again. bear through the suffering and do not take the devil's approaches and also you'll bypass God's judgment, the in trouble-free terms one which concerns. The corruption, brutality, and violence of this international -- the devil's paintings being done commonplace through authentic people -- isn't imaginary, so no, Jesus did not die for any imaginary sin except those the Roman and Jewish authorities made up hostile to him.

I think the nutty fanatics ask question like this to attack something they think they are too intellectually superior to believe. A predominate theme from atheists is how Christians are responsible for so much suffering by attacking people who disagreed with their theology, yet how are any of you different? What a bunch of hypocrites!

Believers in Jesus have been "here" for centuries... yes, we have been here all along Shemus! Nutty is in the eye of the beholder...I see something nutty myself!
Jesus is not imaginary his acts have been recorded in history, and not only in the bible. He is,not only a historical fact but I believe he is who he claimed to be. His sacrifice was his sinless life, in exchange for the sin of the world.

Jesus is alive and well. His Spirit is within us.
He is the truth and the way and the life.
Sin needed to be punished, Jesus took care of it. So our salvation is already paid for, we need to accept the gift. We cannot make it to the Father's house except through Jesus. Offer is for everyone, we just need to let the 'boss' know our decision. : )

Jesus (pbuh) is NOT imginery, if it he was then legend would NOT last till this day, Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet, messenger of God, to teach people right ways and lead ppl to the right path, how else is God suppose to make people learn and make people believe in him, God does not make it easy for ppl to belive in him, otherwise life wud be pointless and no rewards, Life is a test, this life and world is temporary but unfortunetely some ppl are ignorant and belive this life is eternal, God gave messages to Prophets (pbu them) to teach ppl about life and after life, its a test of having faith, God tests people in different ways, its about strong mined and weak minded ppl only people who dont belive are spoilt, never seen hardship, always doing things like sins, sex, drugs, etc they see things on Tv & things around them and think there is NO God, they see technoloigy, see ppl act differrently and become weak and beliver there is No God, this is a test to see if people can resist tempation, respect ppl like Jesus (pbuh),

Jesus may not have been an imaginary man but the idea that he is more than just human is in Christians' imaginations.

You never know, I mean there could've been a man named Jesus Christ before. I'm an atheist so I don't believe that that man died for our "sins"....I respect him as a historical figure but nothing more.
