Some say "love is a verb," and say loving means doing. But here Paul shows us that doing is not enough. There's something else there. What is this love Paul speaks of?

aren't we all just the same really
we all have our individual beliefs that are as equally important and as true to us and the next persons
shouldn't we all be learning from each other and changing our behaviour towards each other accordingly
this place is filled with intelligent people from every faith and belief system ... heck we should have ultimate knowledge now if we worked together
there are many truths and we all hold a small part each
yes ?

The age-old Indian culture is fast rotting. Brotherhood between people is mostly lost. The seven deadly sins have taken on many. The elders and teachers are neither respected nor do they deserve respect by their conduct.
The T V culture has taken over and way-ward sex and life styles are no more taboos.
Political pollution is at its worst. Corrupt men at the helm rule the roost. Coalition forces compromises on principles. The country is sinking.
Environmental pollution has made the nature dirty and the rivers are stinking. The air we breathe is poisonous. Garbage dumps and slums are every-where. The Nature erupts, suffocates and shakes.
Life Values are not valued. Corruption has set even in Judiciary, the main pillar of Democracy. Educational Institutions target fleecing and do not impart character on its wards. Dejection and comfort are found in drugs, drinks, tobacco and way-ward life-styles.
Causing a birth will soon be termed as a sin. To be true WISDOM restricts it.

The Roman Catholics - left behind the miserable dark ages after killing scores across Europe. The witchunts and persecutions afterwards, where innocents were hanged for falsified crimes of the black arts (when they were only trying to pursue science.) The British Empire, which brought holy war to every corner of the world, and now the US, full of (gun) loving Christians who want to nuke their enemies, and keep the south american continent poor with the NAFTAR treaty.

Is it true that no other religion has ever caused so much trouble as Christianity?.

If any religion what so ever is right I'm going straight to Hell! *shivers*
Christianity-Goin' to Hell
Islam-Again,straight to hell with me
Hinduism-I'm on the Highway to Hell
Paganism-I'm sure you have your version of Hell (Hades)
The Question: is there really ANY religion that dosen't want me
to burn in some sort of fiery lake?

Why does soap rinse off easier under warm water?
Does this have to do with the covalent bonds of lipids in the soap reacting to the heat?

I am very religious about my soaps.

Why are living creatures so tenacious about surviving. Who cares if you're dead or alive, or that you even lived? In that case why even have kids, go to school, get a job, pay a mortgage, etc.? Seems like a pitiful way of spending our only chance of existing.

The Catholic Church is still recovering from the devastation of child molestation by priests. A new study now shows that there is widespread embezzlement of collection money. Read Time Magazine's latest issue.
What does the Church really represent?

(I'm not religious, but I am curious what Christians would say about this.)

And, if so, how?

That I don't believe in God?

Here's my situation:
I was raised a Lutheran Christian. I'm fourteen years old, my parents are divorced, and I haven't believed in God for several years, but back in November is when I actually decided to tell people about it. The first person I told was my mom, who I was with at the time. I've basically been telling everyone about me being an atheist when the oppurtunity struck, except for my dad. Most people have and accepted it, including my mom, and those that haven't are just slightly annoying about it.

I feel my dad would be a different case. He's a pretty conservative person. I can tell he definitely wouldn't appreciate hearing about this. I see it by the way he responds to other atheists and things that are against his views. We disagree with a lot of things and I try to argue my point without bringing religion into the spotlight. How and when should I explain my beliefs to him?
