aren't we all just the same really
we all have our individual beliefs that are as equally important and as true to us and the next persons
shouldn't we all be learning from each other and changing our behaviour towards each other accordingly
this place is filled with intelligent people from every faith and belief system ... heck we should have ultimate knowledge now if we worked together
there are many truths and we all hold a small part each
yes ?

I'm with you. Many wise men and women have told us that all religions are the same religion (even lack therof) and we all meet the universe in our own way. Accepting this and loving each other would surely not deny our own truths, just let us enjoy each other more and have peace. I love ya.

You are absolutely correct in that we should love each other, even when we don't like each other. Unfortunately, many people hold to belief systems that are mutually exclusive. You cannot simultaneously believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate and died for our sins (Christianity) and that he is just a prophet of God and never died at all (Islam).
I don't believe that truth is relative. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Truth, but I am sorry to report that today's Christians aren't known by their love for the most part. But I do believe that if you or anyone is seeking goodness and love, they will find it in Jesus Christ, even if they don't recognize Him as such in this life.

Yes, we are all the same. And we do all carry a small bit of wisdom with us.
The problem is that we also all carry around delusion and defend it as if it were truth!
There is no point in trying to agree, the best we can do is respectfully argue.

yes. but it is exactly that which keeps us apart... we all believe that our religion is right. This is ignorance in the highest. We should all just accept that there is no proof and work to build a better relationship with people on earth before we work on our relationships with god(s), which may or may not exist.

I love Pangel

yes you are so right if we could only be more open minded and respect each others opinions then it would be a better world. it is not easy to everybody but that should be our ultimate aim. thank you for sharing your thoughts with us if everyone where more like you then it would be easier to love people

There is science...and there is subjective "truth".

You need to distinguish between the two.

Most belief systems are essentially tribal in purpose, I suspect.

It strikes me you are a sweet-tempered person and that your generous attitude to life has much to offer.

I believe that Jesus came down to earth to free us from religions. To teach how to have a relationship with God, and to teach how to serve and love one another.

When we Christians claim that we have the Truth, we actually mean a person, Jesus. We believe that He is the way and the truth and the life.

But we miss the whole message if we fail to love. That is the biggest commandment that we love one another. : )
