Of course, thoughtful and educated people in general recognize it is unlikely there is a god -- nevertheless, if there were a god he would not approve of abortion, do you agree?

Don't tell me what the Bible god says, I know the Bible through and through, and the Bible god says all kinds of outrageous and horrifying things, and no decent person should have to listen to that -- but a real god would not approve of abortion, for a real god would be a just and kind and honest and righteous god.

Just because there is no god, that doesn't make any allowance for abortion -- a real god would never approve of it -- and we ourselves all of us know the difference between right and wrong.

All who agree your responses would be appreciated.

Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried.

Five hundred and twenty years before Messiah was born in Bethelem of Yudea, Zechariah wrote:"...I will bring forth My Servant THE BRANCH." This Messianic revelation gives His Name as Yoshua/Yahshua. Zechariah 3:1-9. The contemperary Prophet Haggai also gives out this Name, but Zechariah reveals the double entendre re the Name Yahshua (meaning of this Name is: The Savation of YHWH). Are you aware of any earlier prophet who mentions the actual Name of the future Messiah of Israel?

i have realized that God is foretold about who will come next. he foretold the children of Isreal of their coming messiah, but when he can (jesus) they denied him under whatever excues.

then again happend in christianity, they have been promised of the coming comforter (Muhammad), and when the spirit of truth came, who will "speak" to the world, they denied him as well under whatever excues.

and we have been promised that there will be someone who will come Al-mahdi (the guided) before the return of Jesus. will you deny him too when he comes?

Have any of you been through this process? How does it work? How long of a process is it? I would like as much information as possible regarding this process. But I would like information on Reform Judaism, specifically, not Orthodox or otherwise.

This is an answer I spotted on another question - As a Christian though it is our responsibility to tell EVERYONE about the Gospel...

Freedom of choice (or free will as christians love to call it) means being free to say "NO I am NOT interested".

Mark 6 verse 11 says if people do not wish to listen, then leave them alone and move on.

Why do christians NOT move on??

Its a Catholic Church that i went to him with. well when we were there he told me that if i decided to become part of that church that id need someone to represent me and that it would be his job to. So a couple Questions

The New American Standard Bible
Book of Hosea
Chapter 13 - :15 - Though he flourishes among the reeds, An east wind will come, The wind of the LORD coming up from the wilderness; And his fountain will become dry And his spring will be dried up; It will plunder his treasury of every precious article.

13:16 -
Samaria will be held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword, Their little ones will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.

Did St. Benedict introduce them into the Latin church after learning them from the prior Orthodox church? If so, who originated them in the Eastern church? These vows are: 1. poverty, 2. chastity and 3. obedience. In the Latin church they are used by Roman and Anglican Catholic religious orders. What about the Eastern Orthodox and the Coptics?

A year ago, a witch did something to me (it is a long story....) the consequence was that I started having weird things. A sudden depression developed. I started having thoughts of killing myself, harming others and becoming crazy. I started thinking that she had broken my spirit and that other spirits could come once in a while to be in my body or my mind. Is a witch capable to break a person´s spirit?

The Bible shows that God does NOT consider human life to be precious. He kills OVER 2 million people, including babies, and that isn't counting fetuses or the number of men, women, children, and fetuses killed during the Flood or the Slaughter of the Firstborns, when we are not told how many people he killed.

The Bible clearly shows that God approves of abortion, and in many cases commands it:

The Bible approves of killing pregnant women: Genesis 38:24, Numbers 31:17

The Bible approves of abortion: 2 Kings 15:16

God approves of abortion: Hosea 13:15-16

People are not counted as persons until they are a month old: Numbers 3:15

The Bible contains directions on how to abort any pregnancy caused by adultery: Numbers 5:12-31

The Bible says that being aborted is better than living a bad life: Ecclesiastes 6:3-5, Matthew 26:24

The Bible says that a person becomes a living soul when he BREATHES the BREATH of life into his nostril (fetuses don't breathe):Genesis 2:7

In other words, what finally enabled you to see the absurdity of Christianity?

Many let's say non-believers like myself have read the Bible in search of answers, and instead been turned off Christianity. Now if the perfect word of god was just that wouldn't that mean anyone who read the word with an open mind would instantly be enveloped in God's love rather than repulsed by the stories told? Isn't that defenition of perfect, 100%, if 100% of people with an open mind don't believe in the word of God after reading the Bible it's not perfect. And since God and everything he does is perfect the moment God does something less than perfect it proves his inexistance.

Don't try blaming it on mankind, it's either the inspired, unscrewupable (for lack of a better word) word of God, or a bunch of stories by confused men.

When I was in grade school, a girl a couple of years younger than me sat down at lunch to say grace. When she finished, she jumped to her feet and yelled, "IF YOU DON'T GIVE THANKS TO GOD, YOU'LL ALL GO TO HELL!"
Please remember this was done in a cafeteria that doubled as a gymnasium. This was very loud. I felt sorry for the girl, we all thought she was nuts.

Why can't people try to get a little bit of understanding about Islam before they threaten it or mock it? The word Islam means "peace and safety" in Arabic. Yes, many of the leaders in the Middle East have forgotten about what it is to be a true Muslim, but that does not reflect upon the rest of us of the Islamic faith. I, for one, happen to stand firmly against the actions of the Al-Qaeda and Shi'a regimes.
