Did St. Benedict introduce them into the Latin church after learning them from the prior Orthodox church? If so, who originated them in the Eastern church? These vows are: 1. poverty, 2. chastity and 3. obedience. In the Latin church they are used by Roman and Anglican Catholic religious orders. What about the Eastern Orthodox and the Coptics?

They're not the Benedictine vows
I'm a trainee priest doing a placement in a Benedictine Order and the Benedictine ones are
1. Continual openness to regeneration from God
2. obedience
3. consistency in commitment to the community you join

I think the ones you're thinking about are the Augustinian vows.
These are used by most Anglican and Catholic orders and I think Eastern Orthodox and Coptics have their own set of vows (and they don't have the same idea of monasticism - becoming monks/nuns anyway)
Hope this helps

They are probably named after the original author. That must be Benedict Arnold. (Or you could be right.)
