Many let's say non-believers like myself have read the Bible in search of answers, and instead been turned off Christianity. Now if the perfect word of god was just that wouldn't that mean anyone who read the word with an open mind would instantly be enveloped in God's love rather than repulsed by the stories told? Isn't that defenition of perfect, 100%, if 100% of people with an open mind don't believe in the word of God after reading the Bible it's not perfect. And since God and everything he does is perfect the moment God does something less than perfect it proves his inexistance.
Don't try blaming it on mankind, it's either the inspired, unscrewupable (for lack of a better word) word of God, or a bunch of stories by confused men.

Based on God's writings it's pretty easy to see that he doesn't seem to understand his creation, so why listen in the first place? He's always condemning us for the behaviors he installed, so it's pretty plain to see that he's angry at his own creations for having design flaws that he implemented. It's high time God came to terms with who's really at fault here: God.

--Where in the world do you get the idea that the Bible is a magic book! Its made up of principles of the highest nature--Just because you do not want to make the effort to learn & work on these is not the Bibles fault, or make the Bible invalid-- you are making the decision to reject it!
--If you bought this world renoun cook book with this master chefs cooking methods, and you fail to study the difference between mixing ingredients or super blending the same ingredients--say like pancake batter or mixing flour with eggs, butter etc. to make bread dough--You are going to get some weird results!
--If you were to read a book by the sick inspiration of the super terrorist, Ben Laden--would you be transformed by his magic words or would you really have to study his obscene concept.
--When the clergy brainwashed their inquisitors and they in turn brainwashed their underlings--did it not take time and convincing by promises threats etc. before they got the concept down pat.
--So you took the word of some clergy or fanatic born again about what the Bible or Christ magically will do for you---And you think that is going to excuse the contempt you show for the Bible---Hardly.

The true meaning and scriptures of the bible were written in hebrew and the so-called King James version was translated by man. And if this man was King James he was an evil tyrant that used this bible to control his people. If you want to really know the true meaning youd have to dig up all the dead sea scrolls and learn to read hebrew. I do believein a God his name may be Jesus. but i dont believe in what the bible says. I belive in God not religions.

100% of 100% of the people with open minds don't reject the bible as the infallible word of God, so your argument fails right there.
The bible doesn't save you. Faith comes by reading it and studying it prayerfully, but you have to have the eyes of your understanding enlightened before you can understand it. You have to be born again of the spirit of God. The bible is spiritual knowledge and foolishness to the carnal mind.
edit:
To be born again means to recognize that you have sin in your life, to turn away from it and turn to God who forgives us and saves us out of our sin.

Ya know, God knows your true heart. Were you REALLY open minded? Or was it that you were trying to prove something. If you have FAITH alone first, you will be made to hear and made to see. God doesn't have to prove anything ever to you, even though he already did once by Jesus' sacrifice.

If the bible was unearthed today in an archaeological dig - it would be considered interesting historically but that's about all. It has a bunch of statements in it that are not even rational.

Christians (not myself) would argue that God gave us the free will to choose to follow the bible or not.

The four percent of the population you represent do not constitute a big enough block for me to care.
You have not provided one hundred percent undeniable proof the Bible is false...only that you are not able to understand the Bible.

You raise an interesting point. I guess "perfect" is just an opinion then. Much like masochists avoid pleasure, I suppose, it simply fails to appeal to them.
