Why do christians not stop proselytizing when someone says no?

This is an answer I spotted on another question - As a Christian though it is our responsibility to tell EVERYONE about the Gospel...

Freedom of choice (or free will as christians love to call it) means being free to say "NO I am NOT interested".

Mark 6 verse 11 says if people do not wish to listen, then leave them alone and move on.

Why do christians NOT move on??

proselytizing" means to tell everyone about their religion and basically nag at you to join them.

To Lover of Bible Truth who asked - If no one listened to Jesus, how would they know what he taught?

Thats easy - We know what he taught because we read the bible. We know we dont want to be part of it because we watch all the other christians and we find their actions tend to be hypocritical.

Because they don't want to listen to you. Its kind of like a guy saying a girl asked for it because of the way she dressed even though she said no. They do it because they don't want to think you mean it.

Some Christians don't understand Mark 6:11. That is unfortunate, because it could actually turn people further from God. Let me say that I would never force my beliefs off on anyone else, and if someone says "no, I'm not interested," I leave them alone.

You can not except no-- Your duty as a new born is (as a 2 month old bible knowing Christian ) is to tell others far more advanced in Christian doctrine and theology --WHO WHAT WERE JESUS IISS !! What is it that you are not interested in? We are doing the work that Jesus commanded us to do. We are following his example. He sent his disciples from "house to house" in order to reach people. We do the same. He taught people about God's heavenly government and what it will do for all mankind in the near future. We do the same.
He taught for free. We do the same.
If no one listened to Jesus, how would they know what he taught?
The same applies to his followers today.

Because they feel they're way is the only way...

But since they believe that way, and if they were to look back at the bloodshed in the name of their beloved religion, they should understand that someone should be pulled towards the Christian Faith, not forced....

They are trying to convince themselves. Plus there is probably an other bible verse telling to vehemently spread the word. The bible is so contradictory.

Much like you have "Islamic radicalists", you also have "Christian radicalists". Both of them seem to have an extremist "Covert or else" view. I am Christian, but if I see that you are not interested in Christianity, I shall not force my opinion upon you.

Do not forget that they have free will too! (spoken as I am shaking the dust off from my feet!).

They don't listen because they know nothing. They're stupid, if you really think about it. I mean seriously...if there IS a God, then why is this world SO screwed up?!
