Religion has brought prejudice, war, hatred, and many other detrimental things to our society. Shouldn't we pass a law so that NO religion gets practiced anymore. There's no proof that God exists anyway, so it's probably just a huge waste of time, and energy.

When you claim that the Bible has been corrupted. Do you call Mohammed a liar? Mohammed nowhere in the Koran claimed the Gospels (Injil) were corrupted. The word 'tahrif' no where is mentioned in the Koran in relation to the Christian Gospels.
In fact, the Bible predates Mohammed by 500 years, and the same Bible Mohammed would have seen (had he seen one?)
is in 1. the Vatican (Codex Vaticanus) and 2. The British Museum (Codex Sinaticus). It is all there, Jesus dying on the cross as atonement for our sins. And his resurrection, ascension into heaven- in front of many witnesses. The New Testament is preserved in almost perfect condition in these two Greek texts which both predate Mohammed and Islam.
Surely then you do not forget:
Sura 5:46 -And we sent after them in their footsteps Isa (Jesus) son of Marium (Mary), verifying what was before him of the Taurat (Torah) and we gave him the Injeel (Gospels) in which was GUIDANCE AND LIGHT, and verifying what was before it of Taurat

feel it is OK to sit behind a computer monitor and participate in virtual community rather than getting out into their communities and actually participating in the real world? With so many areas having small pagan communities, a most common issues is lack of participation and lack of caring. And it is not because they are afraid of "being persecuted". Not a real issue anymore. Rather it is more because they do not want to "get involved". Why is that? What is your reason for sitting behind a monitor and not getting out to participate in your own local community? Why are you a "hermit", or why do you feel it is not your responsibility to be part of a solid working community?

After all God is the God of Israel. And he will give it to whoem ever he wants and he chose to give it to the Jews. They came back in 1948, and God said never again to be uprooted from the Land he has given them. Israel are not going anywhere anymore, God will make sure of that. I was brought up to be a roman catholic. As soon as I REALLY started thinking about religion (age 15 ish), i decided that roman catholisism, christianity, muslim, etc etc were just ancient man's way of answering the big question...."why are we here?"

Why then do we, as a society, FORCE our children to practice the religion that OUR parents have forced on us?

Surley the fact that there is more than ONE religion, means BILLIONS of people are wrong, why can't it be you?

GUYS leave the kids alone, let them make up their own minds when they are old enough to understand. Remember if you have chosen the wrong religion, you are condeming your own loved ones to an eternity being slowly roasted by Satans little demons, or something.

PS, my own kids have no religion. As soon as they are old enough to understand what the words theology, hate, love, narrow minded bigotry, intolerance, jihad, genital mutilation, war, politics and social conditioning, they will choose what to believe.

if jewish complained oh Muhammad did this and this and this, had more than one wife, went to wars, he wasn't jewish...etc .... then why don't you believe in Jesus then? Jesus born by a miracle, he was from among of you as u claim, he provide many miracles, he never married, he never declare war or killed anyone? .... the reason of not believing it's not about Muhammad or jesus, it's about a disbeliever remain as a disbeliever even if u show him all the evidences in the world.

I am 21 and have been a bookworm all my life. Don't get me wrong, I love reading and education- but at 21, I still have hands like a babies. And, with my academic background, I'll more than likely end up at a job behind a desk or pushing pencils. No chance for my hands (and my soul, if you are thus inclined) to harden up.

I want to take a couple of years to harden myself up- not in a brawny, macho way, but just to toughen myself a little, work up calloused hands and get a few weathered lines. It's as much about whats inside me as it is my appearance; I want to be a man who's worked with the sun on his back, the wind whipping his hair and the sea spray soaking my face.

What opportunities are there for me to do this? Can anyone give me any sensible suggestions? If I am doomed to spend the rest of my life working in a well-paid but soul-destroying office job, I at least want a few years of good, hard, honest toil! So what can I do, bearing in mind I'm based in the UK? Thanks!

i had my web cam on in my bedroom when no one was in the house and it kept picking up a mist of some sort and it recorded. also my dogs keep seeing things in the hall and upstairs. i also have things touched or moved and no members of the household has done it?

It seems in our society, mostly after 9/11, that people are just too scared to say something bad about Islam. I find this to be something ridiculous. Sure they can put a bomb in the next subway, but isn't that a risk we should take? Otherwise our silence simply lets them creep in and take over. They are in control of us through their means of scare tactics.

Again, why are people so scared about speaking against islam?
