Do you also think that it could be possible that ur name means anything to God, even though it doesnt mean anything in particular in any other language?

On October 18, 2004, Arthur Shelton, a self described Christian and Eagle Scout, murdered his friend and roommate, Larry Hooper, because Hooper didn't believe in God.

...

Throughout the 15 minute phone call Shelton often repeated, "I'm a Christian and an Eagle Scout and I wouldn't lie," and "don't worry about me, I'm fine, but he's the devil." The dispatcher struggled to persuade Shelton to lay down his weapon and go outdoors with his arms raised. Shelton resisted, as he feared Hooper might not be "dead enough", but eventually complied.

Dead enough was an understatement. When the police arrived they were confronted with the grizzly scene of Hooper sitting upright on the couch with his head blown away and his brain laying on his hand. The autopsy report presented by the prosecutor was gruesome to be sure, but, for the record, Larry Hooper tested negative for all narcotics and alcohol.

The US military would be more than happy to take care of your little problem with violence world wide. If you don't mind the loss of life involved among innocent Muslims, go ahead, sit back and don't get involved. Make excuses and quote your holy book.

When are we going to see you gathering in the streets by the tens of thousands protesting terrorism as you do capitalism, zionism or unemployment in France?

For those of you who think that Christians can't be as judgmental as I'm being, let me reind you of Jesus' own words:

"Woe to the man who would harm a hair on the heads of one of these little ones."

You might also want to brush up on Matthew and Jesus' condemnation of the Pharisees. Shame on all of you if you think that the murder of men, women and children is so unimportant that you would rather criticize me than the ones killing those for whom our savior died.

What is really the challenge in denying something that you don't believe exists?

1) Do they also not realize that there are Christians that were athiests before (visa-versa)?

2) They don't really give a reason to their statement "...and you should too." I mean why should I deny the Holy Sprirt just because someone says so?

3) Saying you deny the existence of Holy Spirit on You Tube doesn't condemn you eternally since you have not.

4) Why do also need to say "I'll see you in hell"? I do not plan on going to hell with you if you are going there. In fact I want to save people from this condemned place.

So many of you might be thinking well many of those who blasphemed were Christians (but what I wonder is if most were they involved Christians). Did they participate in their religion? Faith without works is dead. I am not trying to start an argument but rather a discussion, start typing your beliefs or take a side on this subject of the Blasphemy Challenge controversy

when ever someone quotes from koran, the excuses are the same: bad translation - learn arabic - how convinient.
Every muslim knows infidels aren't going to learn arabic just to read the koran. So in arabic they spread the hate and stuff to muslims, then when it gets translated to english, and people see what is really being taught, the excuse is it's a bad translation.
What a conspiracy.

Sylvia Browne, John Edwards and several others enjoy a status whereby even if they never prove their claims people believe them.

Take for example, has there ever been any concrete evidence as to any of the things they claim? I believe not, however, many of the defenses of the people who believe them claim that it is because they have said it, it must be so. Even when confronted with the circular logic of their validations, these people still hold that these claims are true. The concern is that this is not an exercise in being "entertained" but more a good amount of gullible people being lead by their desire to connect to something special in their lives that otherwise does not seem to be there. I am asking exactly what causes this phenomenon time and time again where a reasonable seeming person could become a sheeple, disciple in the face of evidence that they are no more or less gifted than the people they believe in.

Doesn't that imply that God is a woman? What man in his right mind would invent marriage?

Except to ensure that his property was not coveted by another man.

But then he'd need to invent a God to sanctify his marriage and enforce the rule and that opens a whole other bag of worms..... So let's just stick with the first part of the question.

Gita says that human life is received after so many good works & after passing through 84,00,000 "Yoni" (different lives other than human). But human population is increasing all over the world. So can we believe that creatures are getting "punya" & becomming human?

Exodus 33:19
" And the LORD said, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion."
Are we made in His image? Then we must do what He does? We must give mercy to whom we will choose? Is that the Justice of God? Is this teaching moral?? Maybe we are confused and Blind and accept everything without discussion just because God said it? Can you see that only a people could write this ? Because the man is of that nature.

or do you believe he/she/they exist.

Now entertain me with an answer, I as an Atheist am able to imagine a Universe which requires a God(s), I do not agree with it but I am willing to admit I could be wrong. Are you willing to admit that you could be wrong, and that your religion might not be the correct one.

Could you admit that you could be wrong and that perhaps there are no Gods?

You can have the job if you have the moral courage you boast of and determination to make for yourself a lasting name of peace.

My boys in the US Marines, US Navy, US Army and US Air Force are more than happy to take up the task if you opt out.

Do you consider it shameful that you're too lazy or afraid to save your own brothers with reason and abdicate your duty to us? You know that we'll use bombs and reason, don't you? Can you allow your co-religionists to die unnecessarily?

Or are you too comfortable in your homes?
