It depends on the situation.

No, God judges the heart more than He judges the actions. Consider the rich man who pays his regular tithe but only does it to gain the adulation of his peers. Then consider the poor widow who pays as her tithe he very last penny because that is all she has. Who is God going to bless more.
Moreover, God does not want people compelled into His kingdom. He wants people willing to enter on their own. That he wants us to encourage each other that is true but you will do far more good using patience and long suffering for then the person may become truly converted.
When Jesus was on the earth, his was an invitation, "Come, follow me." Never did he ever imply that anyone should be forced into discipleship.

Yes, it is very wrong. Who judges what is right? You? You have the wisdom to know what is right and wrong. Also, what gives you the right to live that persons life for them?
You are walking on very dangerous ground here.
Might be best to let this one go. You should be worried about your own life, not his.

It is definitely wrong to force someone into doing right. The reason is that they wouldn't understand why they are doing it. Plus, they won't appreciate their actions.
You can lead them and counsel them. But they will have to make that choice.
God gave us everything, but a made up mind.

Unless the person has committed a crime or causing harm to another, who are you to judge what is wrong and what is right?
If you're attempting to force someone to do something because you think it's up to you to "save" him, then you are an egotistical jackass. And yes, it is wrong for you to force someone to conform to your standards of what you only think God wants.

Yes, it is wrong because it violates the special gift of free agency that God has given mankind.
We all have the power to choose our paths as we see fit, and unless someone breaks certain laws in the process, we are to let them alone.

I don't see how you can force someone to do what is right. Even when we have laws in place, people break them. All you can do is teach, discipline (children) and punish (courts).
May God Bless you.

Forcing someone is what tyrants do. You cannot create a right out of a wrong.

Christ did not preach force because that is not the way of God (sorry Sho-Nuff)--anyone that insists that it is has missed a very important part in the message of peace...

Unless it's our children....we can't force anyone to do what is right. We as christians can only point people to Christ.....He has to do the rest (the saving part)
