In Genesis, it says that God blew the breathe of life into Adam, which seems to suggest that life begins when a person takes their very first breath. But anti-abortionists think it begins at the moment of conception. What is the basis for this belief?

If a train leaves New York at 6AM (EST)traveling at 60 miles an hour for Los Angeles and a train leaves Los Angeles at 3AM (PST) traveling towards New York at 60 miles per hour,

do you think they'll cross paths right around Kansas?

Do you think the people of Kansas would Inherit the Wind if enough trains from New York and Los Angeles cross paths?

A favor, if you don't understand "Inherit the Wind"'s application to this question, please don't answer.

I know several people are spouting evolution. But everything would be a lot easer to understand if we could just stick to church science. And I understand it is now possible to get a degree in that, I believe it's called creationism. They even have a creation institute on the internet. So why do we have to complicated things and start in with evolution. Oh and by the way, if you live in Kansas write to your senator and tell him you prefer church science.

Many atheists believe the whole theory of evolution proves the non-existance of God. Just throw everything out the window because Darwin proved there is no God!!! But Why?

First off, I am Christian and I believe in evolution. (I probably shouldn't have mentioned that because I just lost half of the bias crowd right there). But seriously if I objectively look at the core belief of atheists, they believe we evolved from nothing.

So I ask, if NOTHING in science ever evolves from nothing and its proven that no infinite values exist in this universe, then I ask, how did we evolve from nothing?

So when its convenient for you, use evolution as a crutch to somehow distortedly justify the non-existance of God, but realize this...your core belief system evolves around existing from nothing.

Why is there no Goddess in 'modern, pop culture' religion?

We have to go deep into this 'religion' stuff to find balance, why is that?

I am in need of help and I believe praying works but I wanted to know maybe from some more experienced. I know that you can ask God to send you a sign about something you may ask him for but how do u know what the sign is and if you interpreted it the way he meant for you to?? Not to be rude but u just know is not really the answer I am looking for... I know he does things in his own time so how do you know when? And if you asked him to do it in a specific amount of time will he still do it in his own time? I'm not sure if the bible says anything specific about this but I will look there too just wanted others opinions.

Elders require it so what is the biblical basis for keeping track of the time. I understand why it is important to keep track of territory, but why how many hours? And what is the scriptural basis for designating pioneers? If there isn't one, why require people to do so?

I suspect that atheists have difficulty trusting anything that has not proven itself...including God and other people. If you are the spouse or "friend" of an atheist, I would like to know if I am right. Do they see people as essentially good and worthy of trust as some Christians do? Thank you.

I've decided that I've had it with all the injust things that go on not only in my personal life, but in the global society. Therefore, I've decided to start an organization to bring justice back to the world. We'll travel all around, righting wrongs, making speeches and changing lives. We all have the nerve to complain about the world, but yet none of us are doing anything to improve it. What happened to fairness and equality? Contact me through yahoo mail and I'll give you my personal e-mail address and we can discuss ideas on our plan of justice! I need as many followers as possible, this is gonna be BIG!
