If you mean can they be broken under the law then you will need to study the Talmud for those answerers. Rabbis' have argued points of Jewish law for centuries. They can split hairs like you would not believe. It is a fascinating area of study if you have the time.

Minus the laws mandating that God (Jehovah) is the only God, the 10 commandments are good for anybody to follow just to be a decent human being. They're not just for the Jews and Christians they're a guidline that if everybody followed the world would be a happier place.

Oh and the "Thou shalt not kill" should be read "thou shalt not murder" There's a difference.

A lot of people get the crucifixion of Christ all wrong. Jesus was not an unwilling victim at the mercy of men. The idea that Jews (or Roman soldiers) were Christkillers is simply wrong. Jesus is the divine Son of God. If I am Chinese and I have a child, isn't my child Chinese as well? Jesus ALLOWED Himself to be tortured and crucified to pay for our sin. He rose again from the dead three days later and was seen by five hundred people.

The Ten Comandments say, "Thou shalt not murder." They do not say, "Thou shalt allow thyself to be murdered if someone is trying to kill you." If someone is trying to kill you and will not stop, you are not damned for defending yourself.

Absolutely. Thou shalt make no Graven images is broken every day by almost all churches. They put Crosses on their steeples and signage. Crosses are a graven image that isn't even an image of Christ, it is an image of a torture devise. I can imagine Jesus looking down from heaven saying "what is wrong with these tools, that hurt!!!"

But it is necissary to put some type of signage up so that non-believers don't accidentally stroll in with a bag of drycleaning looking for Mr. Woo

Another commandment that is breakable is thou shalt not steal. Christian holidays are all amalgamations of pagan rituals. They are holy days stolen from non-believers.

There are a lot of things we can do in this world and if you think about it that's alot of things.because Jesus meant for us to in joy our lives here on earth, but the one thing we must never do is violate any of the ten commandments. If you find your self not enjoying your life because of the ten commandments you need to reconsider where you want your life to go.

you mean like where it says "Do not commit murder" and they murder Jesus? Newsflash: just because Jesus was murdered they're not saying go commit murder. It's kind of seen in a negative light...the whole crucifiction...not a good thing. Not really in accordance with the big ten ones.

No. He said if you love Me keep my commandments. At that point He takes responsibility for the results.

I don't believe they are breakable but they are forgiveable. Only God knows what's really in your heart - you can not fool Him, so why even try? Happy Valentine's Day!
