God is not a man. Christianity grew out of the Jewish faith and is an extremely vital part of our history.

GOD is GOD...not Jewish or Christian...

Jesus was a Jew who took the faith to a whole new level, and now it's called Christianity.

Those that believe that Christ is not the Messah and still hold onto the beliefs of the Old Testament are considered Jewish.

Muslims believe in the Old Testament as well, but then Muhammad came along and said that 'there are no other prophets but me'.

No, because Judaism (The religion that Jewish people follow) is different than Christianity! If we said that he was Jewish, then we would be following a different religion. I think *maybe* that you got 2 different ideas confused. God never lived on earth, Jesus did. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which is in the Middle East. Three of major religions of the world, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, are all centered (or began) in the Middle East. So it's safe to guess that Jesus could have been of Middle Eastern lineage (*gasp of surprise*). Maybe you are thinking of Jerusalem, which is in Israel the capital of the Jewish world?

Should I figure that since I'm Christian, it would not be accurate to call my next door neightbor, Ian Weinsblatt, a Jewish man?
Am I missing something here??

Since Jesus was a Jew, and Christians believe that Jesus was God, then YES, if you are a true Christian then you really do believe that "God is a Jewish man."

Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.

Regards,

Chris

If you are referring to Jesus - He was born into the human family as a Jew. Before that He existed as God the Son with the Father and the Holy Spirit before any race, creed or nationality existed - in fact before any existence outside themselves at all!

God is a grown ups imaginary friend. There is not one proof out there that he is real. Not one. You can attack a person or a Deity, but you can't attack something that isn't really there. So, how can you call God Jewish or Christian, if he is not real?

No, it is not accurate. God is a Spirit. Jesus Christ, God's Son, was Jewish and came to this earth, died and rose again for all mankind. He died and was resurrected for you, me and everyone, for our sins.
