and premature babies? and the natural disasters that kill thousands? don't tell me "Oh, Satan did it" surely "god" could stop cancer anytime he liked? Not to do so would make him no better that Satan.

Cancer is NOT "man made" it's a mutation of cells which humans have no control over. SOME cancers are caused by things like smoking but not all of them.

Oh for goodness sake! how can you say cancer is the fault of humans! What about children born with lukemia!? One in three of us will get cancer, smokers or non smokers.

Don't agree sorry, I think it's partly to do with the crap sprayed on our food and the pollutants we breathe. All of which we 'invented'

You know that cancer isn't anything new, right? Children born with lukemia is genetic. You can't really blame God for not stopping every case when I've witnessed miracles where people actually ask God to heal someone and he does. And saying God is no better than Satan...wow...you should probably take that back...and by the way. The number one cause for premature babies is girls getting pregnant young. Surely you don't think that premarital sex is God's fault too.

You've asked one of the biggest questions of all time - why God allows suffering when he could stop it. You are right to object to the "Oh, Satan did it" excuse. But there's no way this question can be done justice to in such a forum. All I can suggest here is that you start asking different questions in order to grasp what's really going on because the way you're wording it here almost guarantees you won't find the answer.

If you look at the physical life of Jesus and consider why he entered into our human suffering, dying a horrendous death in order to save us, then you might see that God cares more than we do about the effects of sin. God's solutions are never quick and convenient; there's no sticking plaster treatment with him. He cuts out the cancer of sin utterly. And that is painful. Very few people are prepared to let him do that. They'd rather curse God and die. I recommend the book below. Is it not supposed to be the case that all the bad in the world is attributed to the wrong doings of man, so why are you blaming God? Cancer is often caused by anthropogenic activity, such as industrial processes spewing out carcinogenic chemicals. And anyway, if nobody died from diseases and disasters, where would all the newly born people go? The earth has a carrying capacity - the maximum amount of life that it can sustain, and i think for Humans, we have already reached that carrying capacity.

You're exactly right. God can do anything He likes like you do anything you like. Did you ask God for help? So many people doesn't include God in their life and unless you do so He doesn't interfere. As for cancer some people brought it upon themeselves when they do things they know could be bad for them and premature babies is it His fault too? It's a natural cause of life. If God interfere too much people would also badmouth Him and brands Him as control freak. And He's way too much better than Satan because God gives peace, joy, and love the world can't offer. Satan, he's just a miserable life giver.

God has created us with a strong immune system so that every cancer cell in our body, including any tumor of any size, will be eaten alive by T-cells, but there is a condition: our SPIRITUALITY.

If our cortisol is not being oversecreted, then our T-cells will eat the cancer cells. Our T-cells know what to eat because of the antigen flag. Everything that comes into our body, whether a virus or even the foods we eat, has an antigen flag. the ability of our T-cell to recognize the antigen flag on an invader such as a virus, a bacteria or a rogue cancer cell or masses of cancer cells, which are genetic mutations of creation in their own source, requires interleuken-2 as the activating chemical for them to recognize the antigen flag.

This is why Henry Wright said earlier that if our enemy, Satan, knows he can get us stewing in our stuff and get us out of sync with God's commandments of what creation should look like in relationship, then he can leave us vulnerable for everything that is coming. We give him permission to do it, in our disobedience.

I think it would be good to include spirituality in our nutrition, as a way of life, to eat spiritual manna. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

The person who fits the cancer profile is a person who denies certain strong needs and represses a lot of feelings. What is often found in people who develop cancer is that they shut down. They do not want to be hurt anymore, so they end up in a denial state, suppressing everything. We would call that internalizing the rage and the anger and the bitterness.

God doesn't need excuses. Premature babies= smoking during pregnancy, natural disasters=us messing with the atmosphere, cancer= caused by our medications.
Even though God has every hair on your head counted, he/she/it doesn't interfere with the natural order of things.
When bad things happen it's not necessarily always going to be someone's fault. There won't always be someone to blame. Blaming God isn't going to score you any points either.
Maybe try asking His support through your trials instead of pushing God out.

The ONLY possible "excuse" I can think of that even remotely makes sense, is if you throw out all the oh, "God is punishing them, etc" junk and just say that, if there is a God, this life is just being used as a learning experience.

To find out that we have a limit to what we can do. To find out we do need extra help. To keep us from being too proud. To refine humans everywhere so they eventually become better people, seeing that not only are bad things bad, but the reasons why they are bad, so they will learn from them to not do them anymore.

Any other reason has a kadjillion holes and must be disqualified.

A question like that usually is someone searching for an excuse not to believe in god. I had a very simular opinion and had no faith. My mother died of cancer when i was just 7 she was only 34. Not fair is it. But think of it this way. God created Adam and Eve. We broke the rules by eating the fobbiden fruit. He sent Jesus to save us, we crusified him. Maybe if the world had remained as god intended those things would no exsist.

Don't look for a reason to hate God. Look for a reason not to. So much evil is in the world that Hell must exist, therefore so does Heaven and God.

I am not a religios person, i'm just trying to make sense of what happens around me. Believ in him and one day you will be able to ask him this question yourself......i certainly intend to.......

The is world is messed up according to the christian view. This includes people being born with awful deformities, and others getting painful diseases.
When Christ was on Earth He actually healed everyone who came to Him for healing - mentally disturbed, blind, deaf and mute, lame, leprous, flu-struck, epileptic, paralysed .. he even brought back 2 people from the dead, Lazarus when his body stank as bacteria were decomposing it, and of course His own resurrection, attested to believers by the gift of the Holy Spirit, which believers 20 centuries on can receive to verify that Jesus did rise from the dead and died for our sins.

Christians are meant to be doing many healings themselves to attest to the reality of the gospel, but in practice this is (in the UK at least) very rare, I think.
Historical there have been some great ministries in the last century - eg Smith Wigglesworth, Kathryn Kuhlmann
Some good healing ministries are led by Bill Prankard and Charles Ndifon.

Most times, God allows things to happen to test us. How you handle yourself during this difficult time could bless you as well as someone else. Your life is not your own, it belongs to God. Sometimes we as humans need to go back and think:; What did I do to allow the conditions of cancer to set up in my body? Did I take care of the perfect body that I was born with? Did I worry or stress myself out over conditions or situations I had no control of? You will find in your searching, that we are not perfect and we all make mistakes that cause bad things to happen. Take time and ask God to help you through this situation. Ask him to give you peace and help you to understand WHY! No satan is not always the blame sometimes we are whether we intend to are not. But, because God does love us, He will give you peace and understanding if you ASK.
