If a train leaves New York at 6AM (EST)traveling at 60 miles an hour for Los Angeles and a train leaves Los Angeles at 3AM (PST) traveling towards New York at 60 miles per hour,

do you think they'll cross paths right around Kansas?

Do you think the people of Kansas would Inherit the Wind if enough trains from New York and Los Angeles cross paths?

A favor, if you don't understand "Inherit the Wind"'s application to this question, please don't answer.

If enough trains, planes and automobiles deposited people there permanently, possibly Kansas could inherit the wind, But if the travelers don't stay, the wind just blows right over the Kansanians' heads.

For someone who's atheist, why do you always have a santa claus cap on?

I don't see how trains have anything to do with God, Evolution and Abortion, and Homosexual Marriages. ....the trains are leaving at the same time....at the same speed, but I would say the NY train would hit Kansas before LA...LA train would have to go way north, possiblity through the Sierras.

Hm..considering mountain ranges of both sides of the USA, I would say it is very unlikely they would cross paths at Kansas.

Well... are we to assume that these trains are following a direct, completely straight route? Is there some track that makes a beeline from NY to LA that I don't know about?
