Jesus Christ said that He was the way, the truth and the life.
That's the truth that I follow.

Yes I do want to know the truth. To that end I have read the Quraan and commentaries on it - in particular the descriptions of scientific facts therein.
I have also read other books, religious and secular with an open mind to see what works. The conclusion I have come to is that the Quraan is a total and utter pile of garbage. I cannot see any merit whatsoever in any of it. The simple truth is that Muhammed was not any sort of prohpet of God, certainly not the final and inerrable one.
[edit] Yoda, you make a good point but the Quraan is not Bronze Age (its late classical/early medieaval)

I hear your passion for what you perceive to be your truth. I feel just as strongly that the Holy Bible holds the key to all truth and happiness. We can agree, respectfully, to disagree on this point. Most people are more comfortable making up their own truth as they go along. Even among the Christian world, many perceive God to be only a dogmatic diety with a list of Thou Shalls and Thou Shall Nots, when in fact, He is a God of Love who created us with free will . Most people don't want the truth, just a comfortable watered down version of it. All we can do is continue to search our hearts and read, and then share the truth, as we each define it, to the best of our abilities.

The Holy Quraan is a great book, just like the Bible, and other Holy Books. It is full of great teachings, but the fact is that people accept that which they consider to be the truth.
If you found the truth in the Quraan, stick to it, but don't take it to the extreme. Same goes for Christians. Remember that the best way to live in peace is to respect those who have different ideas than ours.

The Koran reminds me of Satan. half truths and half lies. The Holy Bible is the only true book. Jesus is the Son of God despite what you think. How are you going to get to Heaven, you are a sinner and sinners will not enter Heaven. I am going to Heaven because of Jesus. Jesus is gergous and I will tell the world, about him if I had the chance. There is only one, yes I said ONE way to Heaven and that is through a darling named Jesus Christ, and if you have not got him in your life as Savior and Lord it is about time you did. Jesus does not like seeing his creation ending up in Hell. Hell was made for the devil and his angels. Why don't you pick up the bible and read the new testement of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and you will get to know the life of Jesus. And No the bible is not made up like Muslems think. It was inspired by the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit that came upon Mary when she concieved Jesus. The Holy Spirit is real, I have the Holy Spirit dwelling in me, and without the Holy Spirit I would not be saved. You can e- mail me if you want to know more. I cannot recived e-mail on this thing as I have blocked it, because there are a lot of insane people on here. My e-mail address is jesusisahoney@yahoo.com.au. God bless, Leanne

I do want to know the truth. The Bible is truth given to us by Almighty God. The Father of Christ Jesus who was crucified, buried and rose on the 3rd day conquering sin and death. He is the way the truth and the life. NO one comes unto the Father except through Him.
John 3
1Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."
3In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.[a]"
This is truth my friend.

I could ask you the same thing.
Have you not truly considered Christianity? Have you even attempted to find out how true it is?
The same scientific things are true of the Bible, but the Bible is innerant, inspired, relevant, and does not tell us to kill those that do not believe as we do...unlike your religion.

The koran is like any other book of bronze-age mythology, boring, trite and filled with mistakes, contradictions and lies.
It is effective in keeping the gullible and stupid in their place though, I'll give it that.
But if there is truth in it, or any other book of mythology, I have yet to see it...

No thanks. Glad it makes you happy but your opinion of what is the truth is just that, your opinion. Believing does not make it a fact, just more religious faerie tales.
