God isn't a feeling. You can feel his presence with a sense of peace, as though someone is watching over you, or you can feel guilty, like someone is persuading you to do better, or you can even feel overwhelming joy for absolutely no reason. All these feelings are of God and from God. But God himself isn't a feeling.

This might sound pretty controversial but I sincerely hope you get the drift. Because we are created in Gods likeness, then we have God in us innately. If you do not know or wholly accept yourself it is difficult to know God. We tend to mock that which defies human logic and is beyond our limited mental understanding. Scientists suggest that the mind is the most complex organ in our bodies and controls all our actions (conscious or subconscious). They also agree that we use a very small percentage of our minds to achieve what we have already. How do I feel God? Imagine what man would be capable of if we all understood and embraced ourselves wholly. When we actually realize that we are all vitally important in the scheme of things. When we understand that every individual is important to complete the whole and rejecting any one individual equals creating a missing link and leads to the collapse of the whole. Imagine knowing without a doubt that you are your brothers keeper and harming another literally translates to cutting your own nose to spite your face. That to separate ourselves is to weaken ourselves. This is as clear in my mind as the light of day and so is the understanding that it is a universal truth. I do not say this in anger but empathy and sincerity. God bless.

No one can feel God, because He is Spirit.
You can only feel physical phenomena.
We believe in the One True God, not by feeling, but by the powerful life and teachings of His Divine Messengers.

I can feel God by the good people who surrounds me. When they do something good to me, I know that God is with them.

Better yet what kind of stupid answers are those? I think that if your serious about your question you need to seek the help else where obvisily most answering here can't feel him. To me he is not something I feel at a certain moment or when I am lonely and helpless, I feel him at happy times too.

Ask and you will recieve. But the best way is to mediate on Scripture, and then wait, asking for His presence to be revealed. I think I'll try it tonight...
