We did not, once the Muslim population in Southern Philippines had saturated the area, they demanded a country of their own, under self-rule. The Philippine government gave the MNLF 5 provinces as their land.

America and Israel have nothing to do with the Muslim violence in the Philippines. The conflict between Christians and Muslims actually started during the Spanish period and continues to this day. Muslims want an independent state in Mindanao because they claim it is their land.
