It seems in our society, mostly after 9/11, that people are just too scared to say something bad about Islam. I find this to be something ridiculous. Sure they can put a bomb in the next subway, but isn't that a risk we should take? Otherwise our silence simply lets them creep in and take over. They are in control of us through their means of scare tactics.
Again, why are people so scared about speaking against islam?

In today's world where the dictates of political correctness say we cannot tell the truth about an allegedly oppressed minority no matter how evil that minority is, muslims have become experts in using the media to help them demonize all who oppose islam and the evil threat islam poses to our freedom and even our lives. Couple this with the constant threat of bombings, beheadings, and other tortures muslims are famous for, and millions of people have been silenced out of fear.
My advice is for every person to read the koran for themselves and they will se how obviously evil islam is and this should shock all decent people into speaking against islam. Don't believe the lies muslims tell to promote their barbaric "religion". Muslims are taught to lie any time they think lying will help spread the disease of islam.
The first foreign enemy to attack peaceful Americans were arab muslims who were using their little states as pirate kingdoms. Thomas Jefferson stopped them using the only thing they respect, military force. Not much has changed. Muslims are still terrorists, and we must fight to keep them from destroying us.
Wake up and smell the jihad...

As a muslim i think i hear too much bad on yahoo answers about islam. In fact i can see that most of it is untrue. But it is not you fault. its the only information you get. I am sad to know that the US being such a liberal and open country has such ristricted news programs. You only hear one side of the news.
As a matter of fact you don't have independent new in any form in the US. No news source be it radio or tv or print can say anything about jews. Why because they get bombarded by mail campaigns acussing them of things they don't want to hear in their dreams.
How much coverage did you hear of the fact that Israel bombarded civilian areas with cluster bombs. which is not only an international breech of law but also again the defense contracts with the US.
almost none i would say.
but if a muslim joging in the park bumps against an elderly person it becomes front page news with the Heading : "A Muslim almost Killed a Kind and Loving Elderly person"
And its a pitty that some of the guys on this site have almost no information about its teachings. I can assure you if you try to learn and understand it you will think of it totaly differently.
And yes i am fed up with hearing all this nonsence B.S. that is said based on nothing. Please!, you call your selves and developed and logical people, that you like to get the facts right before making a decision, but it is a fact that you have no idea about what you are saying most of the time..... Stop listening and watching that one channel look at others, listen to really independent new.... if you cant guess i will give you an option
Quit watching Fox news all the time and at times watch ALJAZEERA just for curiocities sake or just to know what others are saying... i think the US stands for freedom of speach and thought so help youself....

Why do you care? Will it give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside to hear Islam attacked? And the uncivilized (including atheists and Christians both) "speak out" against it all the time. They usually never have any real arguments against Islam though like they do with man-made Christianity.

Why don't you check out some questions on this very Yahoo! Answers site and you'll find plenty of people speaking against it, even defacing Islam.
In fact, generally everywhere Islam is spoken about negatively.
However, I must empahise the fact to people not to judge Islam on the actions of all kinds of Muslims around the world. What is written in the Quran and the Sahih Hadiths is the real Islam, that should be followed by all Muslims.

Most of the people who speak against Islam don't know what they're talking about. They read a Cliff Notes version of the Koran or an article on Wikipedia and all of a sudden they're experts on Muslims and their various cultures. They listen to the Michael Savage's of the world and denigrate all Muslims as being a threat to the United States.
If someone wants to speak out against the radicals then go ahead. Just understand that they are not representative of most Muslims.

its hard to believe that Christianity and Islam actually originated from brothers.or somewhere along the bloodline.

i dont know about the rest. but one things for sure i dont criticize.
and i guess that because half the world is against them and assuming that they are the cause of all this terror in the world, so they are overprotective of their religion.

Did you know that the difference between Christianity and Islam, if my memory serves me right, basically came down to politics? Both have their crazed extremists, who believe that they are acting in the name of their god, be it Mohammad or Jesus, when in reality they are being controlled for political purposes. I do not know too much about radical Islamic leaders, but being from the south, I know that all of the Evangelical leaders live on these expensive estates that are bought from the donations of their followers, which leads one to believe that they are only in it for the money.
Not to sound like a broken record, but what rock have you been hiding under? Islam bashing seems to be the in thing these days. I can only assume that you are just trying to provoke people.

I see dozens of questions here everyday speaking against Islam. Who's scared?
And since you've brought it up, I believe Islam to be a religion based on lies which, in the wrong hands, can be manipulated to spread hatred and violence. Of course that's true of almost all religions, including Christianity.
