70% of people in prison are Christians. Atheists uphold morals and are more tolerant than Christians (Homosexuality being a good example), yet we are considered "evil" or immoral.

Let me first say that I don't think that ALL CHRISTIANS think this way. Obviously they don't.

But some do. Why? Isn't religion firstly about a personal philosophy by which one lives one's life? As in, "I won't do that, because I believe it is immoral. I don't think God would approve of this kind of behavior. God wants me to behave in this manner, instead, so I do."

If it is, what does it MATTER that the scientific picture of the universe's origin doesn't match the Bible? Why does everything in the Bible have to taken as LITERAL truth for any of it to be true? Isn't it at least POSSIBLE that God created the Big Bang, or evolution? If he did, isn't it also possible that he didn't mention these facts to Abraham or Moses because they didn't have the education to understand?

Please not that I have not even suggested that there is no God, or that science is wrong. I simply refuse to accept that they are apposing forces.

Pascal says: "You must wager; it is not optional... Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God exists... If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation, that He exists."
Atheist's says: "You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or you believe in god. If there is no god, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent god, he will judge you on your merits and not just on whether or not you believed in him."
Homer Simpson says: "But Marge, what if we picked the wrong religion? Every week, we're just making God madder and madder!"

The bible states that 1000 years for us is like a single day for God. From Adam's "creation" until now it's been 6000+ years. (Yes, less than 7000) On the seventh day, God rested....Thus, don't you think that God is on vacation now and for the next few hundred years or so....?

Newtonian Science assumes that the universe, and all matter, is like a machine and if we break it into individual parts we can understand it better.

But with the advent of Quantum Physics we have discovered that when we break matter into it´s smallest parts, it is no longer matter but pure energy.

The same question could be asked about the brain and our thoughts or conscousness. Can we study the self by studying the brain, or would that be like studying music by dismantling a CD player.

And finally to the question of God. Is God made of matter or energy? And if God is energy and energy permeates to universe then aren´t we all God?

And if God were truly made of matter, wouldn´t he be subject to the laws of matter

that will kill billions. One world government to arise, then chip in hand, which, if you accept, you will have to deny Jesus, then you recieve the Mark of the beast......Stay strong Christians till the 3 and a half years of the last seven and do not recieve this chip, then Lord Jesus will come for us,we will be with him in heaven 1000 years then return on white horses with him for the battle of those who will come to destroy the new City.

Christians are saying that if you don't believe in Jesus you'll go to hell. So what happened when before Jesus existed? Did everysingle one of your ancestors go to hell?
I thought that the rules were unchanged.
This so call "rule" that the Christians made is false(in my opinion).
Because if this "rule" applied to all creatures on Earth, then that means all animals(fish, dogs, cats, etc.) of this planet goes to hell.

I believe God did not make any rules that only applies to human beings.

injustices done to other cultures in their own nations before they address how they are treated in other nations?

I fully support all rights of religious practise, and oppose any discrimination based on religion or culture, for anyone in this nation, but I am also getting very tired of watching the Muslim community complain about injustice given the states of their own nations.

Considering that Christians, Jews, etc. are NOT permitted to practise their religion in the gulf states, or Iran, does Islam really have the right to address discrimination in other cultures?

When the Holy Temple was under Muslim control, Jews and Christians were forbidden to worship there, but they are up in arms over repairs to access the site. Does this strike anyone else as a bit insane?

They claim give the rest of them a "bad" name? I mean I constantly hear the rationalizations from Christians who say, "Don't lump the rest of us in with them" and they aren't "real" christians. Then why don't you all do more to the people who are apparently Giving you all a bad name?
