Dunno. I just realized that your avatar is two people in a boat. For weeks, I've been seeing a deformed frog when I look at it. Anyone else?

Yeap, although it is an interesting way to review history! Since there was a question posted "what would you consider proof of God's existence?" I've been thinking. Basically, the Bible or other religious writings, contain various peices of information that should be verifiable in history. Locations in the Bible seem to be reasonable accurate, but events like the Star of Bethleham or the exodus have very little if any historical proof.
Sorry for the tangent...

great question! i just responded to another "What happens when we die" question, and i have the same feeling of, here's this amazing life we're all participating in, right now, full of smells and sounds and colors and feelings...isn't the best way to show gratitude for life to just live it, and not worry about religion, god, death, being right ("...and all that jiving around")
i bet if there were a god, s/he would love that

Thoughts do not require any physical activity, I think. I think about religion, physics, morals, cultures, corruption, mathematics, and such all the time and I do not get exhausted by it.

I think it's such a complex and fascinating topic with such a diversity of different viewpoints it probably stimulates your mind contemplating it.

Thinking about religion can be exhausting...on the other hand thinking about Christ is invigorating!
