The left behind series is really lazy scholarship about the Bible and more focused on making money for the people involved than really trying to teach us about the end times. Why do you think they was that horribly dragged out part of the first book about the relationship between the daughter of the pilot and the reporter? That was enough almost to turn me off of the books -- those past-middle age stogies tryingto capture some ideas of romance and longing between younger people. Gotta have the love interest in the book, but it was dumb.
God will come when He comes and in the way He chooses, not based on some silly money-hungry guys ideas.
