What makes you think that YOUR religion is the correct one and your god is real and created the world and all other religions are wrong? It's because you were brought up that way right?

No nonbelievers or sceptics please. (I am not interested in a blind mans opinion about a rainbow). In light of John 3:3 & 3:7 can a person be a Christian and still insist that they do not have to be "born again" or "born from above" (both translations are acceptable in english-per Greek Scholars). Since the term has fallen into disfavor in our modern world, is it that they don't want the "persecution" that comes with the "label"? I know many so called "born again" christians have brought reproach to the cause of Christ, but is that a reason to "deny" being born again? I'm sorry the question(s) is so long, but I wanted to make it clear. Honest answers wanted: I'm really puzzled, after all, Jesus said, "Beware when all men speak well of you".

7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. (7:9-10)
"Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death."
Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children as required by Old Testament law. (See Ex.21:15, Lev.20:9, Dt.21:18-21)
7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

You have just found out you are dying and nothing can be done to prevent your coming death.
Do you turn to God believing He is real and Heaven awaits you?
Do you turn to God before death out of fear of His realness being a huge possibility?
Do you simply go out with a bang & party hearty, believing He is not real and nothingness will be your ever-after?
Do you believe you will be reincarnated into a new life & body?
Simply die without any faith in anything, denying that you can not be wrong?
Or...
Do you reason with yourself about life after death, over-analyze God verses Nothing, and simply die without any real idea of what comes next and hope it is good if there is anything next?
