Most would be wise to read about it.

I'm sure some Christians have indeed converted people without using fear tactics. Of course, that being said, the only ones that have tried to convert me tried using the fear tactic and it didn't work. I guess I see past circular arguments too easily.

Yes, I have; one didn't take but got a lot out of the church they joined and as a family.
It's called "LifeStyle Evangelism." Mine wasn't that involved; whereby you make friends w/the person and share.
These were already people I knew and rather than "try to make them"
join the chruch I was in at the time, I simply did what I thought Jesus would do.
I met them where they were at; and, one visiting our church, I simply spoke to her. No one else was and that was odd for our church.
The others were looking for a specific church so I went w/them and/or told them the churches I thought they might like.
This goes against the 'norm.'
And, they each found their church home !!
I don't expect people to join my church!
I still direct people to where I feel they need to go next; not always conversion. But, when one is looking for God, one must trust if you've helped them in the right direction, God will take care of the rest.
Meet them where they are at; as Jesus did.

Christians do NOT convert anyone. They present their beliefs and the other person decides.

I have used the 'LOVE TACTIC' found in John 3:16.

Most Christians that I know tell people that unless they convert to 'their' understanding of christianity be it protestant or catholic they will be condemn to hell. Why Christians can't let people make there own mind up I don't know.

No. Because Christians do not have the ability to convert people.

It's the Almighty God who does the conversion. Even before we were born, He had already written our destiny for us.

No. Fear belongs to Satan. Why would I want to help him? Are you aware that you are fulfilling a bible prophesy? Jesus said that Christians will be persecuted, and so they are.

It's kind of hard for them to do so, since 'Salvation', ie. being saved, implies there is something to be saved from, ie. eternal suffering and torment in hell...
