Erotica has been around for thousands of years; it wasn't born when we invented VCRs. There have always been paintings, poems, and stories before there ever were photos and videos.
Take a look at some of the vintage stuff; even grandma and grandpa enjoyed taking pictures of themselves.
Any couple that is getting their fair share of sexual pleasure isn't going to feel "threatened" by erotica.

Hypocrisy.
I know a few Christians that live in the US. One springs to mind - she couldn't be any more vile if she was a practicing satanist.
Their religion is just an act or worse, self-delusion, they don't follow anything the bible teaches, good or bad. Its just a smoke screen.

I think it has something to do with the corrupt Justice system, and lack of political will in Government. Also, men look upon crimes of a sexual nature, as a small thing.
