I am seriously confused, after reading several stories and postings on debate websites with regards to Islam and the Koran I find that one minute the Koran say 'A' and the next it says 'B'.

For example;
I have heard differing arguments as to whether women are second class to men. Some muslims say the Koran says they are, others say they are not.

I have heard arguments regarding christians and jews, one minute they are infidels and the next they say 'The Koran says all religions should be respected'.

It seems to me that someone is lying or the Koran simply contradicts itself all the way through - thus you can choose whatever you want when its convenient.

Pretty lame if you ask me.

I heard Jesus makes a killer hot rod! I am looking for some fast wheels to catch a few child molesting Catholic priests. Does Jesus approve of these bastards or will he create a killer hot rod for me in the name of all things unholy? I am an Atheist and need some advice from some "good" Christian folks. Please help me achieve my dream of being a hypocritical Christian pig.

I have so many, but Joseph was awesome. He went through so much in his life and ended up being a leader and forgiving everyone. He's definately a good example of how we should all be.

I mean, after all, you don't judge, and such convicted murderer is saved and has turned against his old ways.
Would you befriend him? Socialize in every sense of the word that you do with all of your other friends. You have something in common, so, it would only make sense, yes?

Experience 1

During a debate, a Christian asked me a question, prevented me from answering it, told me what my answer was and told me I was wrong about an answer that she made up

Experience 2

A Christian started a debate, became disruptive and rude and accused me of making him disruptive and rude

Experience 3

A Christian approached me while I was wearing an Atheist T-shirt, tried to convince me that God exist, failed and accused me of forcing my disbelief on her

Experience 4

A Christian told me that he was raised in church but God caused him to commit felonies just so he can go to prison to pay more attention to Jesus

Not only that, but also the following.

If you answer yes to this question, I must ask "why", because you Christians (at least on this website) seem to assume that we Atheists have "less knowledge" of what is right and wrong. Thus, your assumption would conclude that these people didn't know "right from wrong" before Jesus, so what right did God have in sending them to Hell?

If you answer "no", then I must ask why didn't God bring Jesus down to earth earlier to prevent these immoral actions from happing?, and I must also ask that if they don't go to Hell, where do they go?

Compare "unclean" to the concept of original sin. We shouldn't call anything God makes "unclean," yet humans are evil? Why would anyone believe that God's most special creation is evil? Isn't each newborn God's creation?

We've all seen them, ranting full blocks of text that nobody reads. The blocks contains war, famine, pestilence, chips implanted in the hands or elsewhere, and god knows what other frothing-at-the-mouth rantings.

I think my current favorite is Leanne, the Aussie Rapture Nut.

More violence is due to love and/or god than any other cause. People can't agree on the defintion of god, nor can they agree on the definition of love. There is no proof of god or love. Neither is tangible and neither can be scientifically proven to exist. The so-called effects of love and god are simply matters of opinion.

Then if I put you in the same exact situation, with the same exact brain state and the same exact input from the senses, will you make the same choice no matter how many times we repeat it? If yes, you have no free will and Christianity falls apart.

If Jesus ate predominately Fish and Honey then the question needs to be asked, did he jazz it up. For Example, a nice glazed honey coating on a fillet of trout sounds lovely. I cannot believe that " he who made all things, in him and through him were all things created" did not work cullinary delights

I recently read that Prince converted to Jehovahs Witness, and I'm curious to hear what the difference is between Jehovah's Witnesses and the practice of traditional Christian denominations.

Yeah, I already read what Wikipedia had to say, but you know, sometimes it more interesting, and informative, to ask around for different points of view.

Thanks.
