If Jesus ate predominately Fish and Honey then the question needs to be asked, did he jazz it up. For Example, a nice glazed honey coating on a fillet of trout sounds lovely. I cannot believe that " he who made all things, in him and through him were all things created" did not work cullinary delights

They probably had many specialized fish dishes along the sea of Galilee where Jesus had a house at Capernaum.
Their food basics were probably fish and bread. They must have had honey but it may have been expensive. Josephus' works may give some indication of their diet.
It was John the Baptist who had the strange locusts and honey diet.
There were not only Jews living in Galilee but also gentiles. Maybe also some Roman colonies, so there were probably lots of cosmopolitan influences on their cooking. Plenty of herbs from the countryside.

Grilled with a touch of lemon, and maybe some salt and pepper. The honey he used mainly with tahinah (sesame paste) on flat bread. He would snack on that all day because he had such a high metabolism and a very active lifestyle.
