I have heard that jews dont believe in hell, so what are the teachings as far as what happens to a soul after death. Since you dont believe in jesus do you believe that there is going to be an "antichrist" of some sort before the end of time? This is a serious respectful questions, so please respond in the same manner.:)

If you look at the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) you see a set of laws that no human could possible abide by. Why did the priests develop these laws? Who would be advanced by these laws and who would be hurt?

In other words what is the real point of the Old Testament?

Why is it that if I claim that the keyboard, I'm typing this on, regularly turns into green cheese from the planet Krypton, then everyone will call me insane, but if someone claims that the bread they are eating and the wine they are drinking are turning into the flesh and blood of a guy born of a virgin, who is his own father, and who rose from the dead 2000 years ago, then he's called a Catholic and should be respected for his faith?

I do like addressing this issue but must. Recently two of my older sons have been sought out by a young devoted Christian 'witness' who is proselytizing to them. I was taught and they have been also "to not do something that is offensive to thyself unto others." That is a simple restatement of the Golden Rule, espoused by Judaism and Christianity. Does a Christian in the act of telling another person that what the other beleives is inadequate not understand that this very act causes the other hurt feelings, confusion and elicits anger and enmity? What makes a Christian do this? Most people are taught good mores and standards by their parents and along comes some teenage do gooder or mis-guided adult who decides to judge and correct some else using 'his' great depth of knowledge, mostly flawed. What hypocracy! What an unfeeling attitude to afront another young person, to intimidate them with threats of torment after death. Can a Christian even understand this?

If people can believe in "big bang",Evolution, etc. Where do you believe what was needed for these things to occur came from? Do you believe they always were? Who created what was needed for these theories to take place? And if you believe these things needed, always were, then why is it so difficult to believe what GOD says in HIS word, the Bible, That GOD always was and that HE CREATED all things? And why don't you that don't believe in GOD get serious and confront HIM face to face and say "GOD IF YOU'RE REAL THEN PROOVE IT TO ME." Are you afraid HE might? If HE"S not real then what have you got to lose? If HE is real then you've got a whole lot to gain. Like eternal life in heaven with the CREATOR who loves you and sent HIS SON to die in your place that you might live.Anyone out there brave enough to take the challange? I did! (If your not serious don't waist GOD"S or your own time, because HE was very serious in loving you so much that HE let HIS son die in your place.

I would like to see any data which can be verified scientifically which could support the Creationist theory. Does such data exist? or do creationists base the belief on the bible. if so how do they know the bible has been correctly translated and is right.
please - no huge rants from the bible as this proves nothing.

I have been on a forum that has many atheist I've been a Christian for 50 yrs but they know the Bible much better than I ever though about. I have had several tell me they were Christians but are not any longer and I don't understand this When the love of God dwells within you, then how can it just go away? I understand doubts sometimes especially when there's been tragedy - been there done that but God has not asked us to do anything that he himself has not done. I've lived through the death of a child, how can anyone not believe and who do they look to for strength and courage when something happeneds? I hear God's name taken in vain, I hear people who don't believe say the name of Jesus - not int the right way but still the fact that his name is repeated tells me there is some belief somewhere deep down

If an Atheist or an Agnostic told a 5 year old that he/she will go to some place where she/he will burn in a fire like lava for all eternity for the crime of thinking that a God exist.

Would you think that this Agnostic or Atheist was committing a crime and inflicting psychological damage on that 5 year old? What if that is truly what the Atheist or Agnostic believed?

Why did a religious nut tell me the fairy tale of burning in hell when I was only 5 years old? This kind of sickness is ok with you?
