The fake names are pretty lame--Alisha the Agnostic, Hari the Hindu, Jenna the Jew, Willow the Wiccan--but the descriptions of the various world-views aren't as distorted as I expected, and the talking points given as advice for proselytizers are actually surprisingly even-handed--from a Christian's point of view, of course. I've seen far, far worse.

And they wonder why people are leaving Christianity in droves!!! While they at least represented Wicca in a reasonably neutral light, to then give tips on how to convert - talking about their personal relationship with God the Father and saying the Goddess doesn't exist because the Bible doesn't mention her - is ludicrous. Gee, I can't imagine why those of us following different faiths are so offended and often resentful of Christianity and the way its followers speak to us!!!

That was very interesting and self righteous to say the least.

This was one of the entries in one of the journals on the web site:

Honestly, ... I've yet to meet a christ follower, a true christ follower that is afraid to die.
In my opinion, let me die. I get to meet my Father, and learn ALL the truths of life... can't wait.

I particularly love how they reduce people in other faiths, or no faith, to a collection of stereotypes.

And for "Willow the Wiccan":

"Whether Willow knows it or not, she is in the grips of Satan, so like Sid the Satanist, be sure and cover your relationship and conversations with her in a ton of prayer."

What a way to encourage mutual respect and humility!

I think all non-Christian kids should see this if they're invited to this sort of conference.

In some respects it's reasonably even handed for example in relation to "Andy the atheist" it states "you cannot argue someone to faith in Christ". As long as that is acknowledged and it isn't encouraging aggressive evangelicalism it doesn't bother me too much.

People get bashed all the time for their beliefs. Christians are not the only perpetrators. You suggesting that is showing your bias and this question shows you bash them as well. So....you really don't have any room to judge, now do you? And a website isn't representative of the ENTIRE CHRISTIAN POPULATION. Now who's spreading propoganda???

The parts where it urges "believers" to use Paschal's Wager [sic] to convert agnotstics and "evolutionists" are a hoot.

I believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the one true way to Heaven. I also believe that I do not need a web-site to give me a reason for my faith or how to share my faith. I think it is a good idea to know what the enemy (Satan) portrays as a good religion that will get you to Heaven when all along you will wind up in Hell.

I don't read everything that comes along. The Bible provides the best standards for Christians.

Why do you even look at this fundamentalist crap. Do you really think their message of hate, anger, put downs, judgements and sending people to hell is really Christian. Or do you just use it to spout off atheist lies? They are an abominations to true Christians. BWD
