The only time I really think about it is when I come here.... my daily life takes me many other places... so this is my one chance on R&S. I never worry about it, but find it interesting to discuss.

I believe that worrying and stressing defy the purpose of religion. To me, religion is an establishment created to justify life and and empower the soul (and I'm not just limiting this to Christianity).
I try not to worry about religion. I focus on my life, here and now, and how I can enrich what I'm already experiencing. Yes, something created us. Yes, our spirits move on when we die. But why should I waste time obsessing over these things and let the life given to me pass by?

Even though God is on my mind Sooooo much throughout the day, I wouldnt say Im obsessed. I love the Lord and all he has done and all I want to do is be with him and worship him. I want to try and be the best person I can be and I want to follow all his commands. Im a baby christian and I have a long way to go but I will keep on trying until the day he comes back for his people. I would be afraid to not worry about God. I dont want to end up with my flesh burning for eternity.

well that is very subjective depending on what each individuals' religion constitutes allowing the exclusivity of christianity seen as a relationship with God because that is how it is. Salvation is attained through justification by faith and that our christian life is one by which we enjoy God and glorify Him which is the chief end of man. obsession ? well a christian has well gotta be obsessed if that implies an excessive passion for God.

I think it's an important issue and I enjoy debating it and I've also studied Christianity but I'm not obsessive about it.

I don't think about religion obsessively, but excessively. I do it a lot but I don't think I do it enough to consider myself obsessed.

I feel it's an undeniable part of life, whether or not you personally believe. The only way to ignore it, is to cut yourself off from society. It plays a larger role in politics than any Xian wants to admit.

i'm not a believer of organized religion of any kind. if there is a higher being that's responsible for our existance, then it is rediculous to think that we would be capable of understanding it's wishes and motives. i was put on this earth to exist, not waste my life away worshipping mythology. i exist, and i strive to find happiness in my journey. THAT is why we are here.
