What do you do when you are doing everything for your teen to help her along in life and she has no appreciation and gets mad when doesnt get her way. She acts as if she wants to destroy her life by insisting on doing certain things that are not good for her. Dose anyone esle feel like having a teen sucks!! Please answer both questions.

The universe is no doubt filled with intelligent life beyond earth. Some may be more evolved and so may be less evolved. In any case, some species may have their own religion of somekind. If they do, then it would only make sense that THEIR god looks like them (and not human)

So who is right? Since they would probably have no more proof than religion does on this planet. Maybe they even have an "alien bible" of some kind. So if we were to meet this species how would we say to them that god looks like us, and not you! Since we too would have no way to prove it.

But I doubt that any species of true intelligence would not have religion. They would find a way to evolve past the adolesence of religion and the childish beliefs that a parent (god) is going to protect us from our childish mistakes and do the thinking for us.

Think I'm a nut? My dad came to me in dreams and gave me answers to questions. My brother in law has already contacted my sisters and I believe he has contacted me. I can't believe people will say Johns Edward is a fake, I'm sorry, then tell me about all the miracles of the world, tell me it all ends when you die. To me that is more ridiculous than to think there is another dimension or learning school, etc.. I just wanted to state a point. I'm not a nut.
Just open minded. Maybe those of you that don't want to believe will believe when your time comes.

Where did everyone go (heaven or hell) up until that point? The cave men, who did believe in an after life, knew nothing of Christ, so what was their fate? The bible doesn't go into detail about dinosaurs and cave men...just curious as to how this one will be answered? oh, oh, oh.....and..... what about societies that white man had never touched before, you know the ones that worshipped stone heads or cow skulls - did they go to hell, too? Things that make you go, hmmmmm......
And I am not trying to disprove God or Jesus. I believe that Jesus existed and was more enlightened than most, like Buddha and Muhammad (spelling?) who were all very much in touch with a higher power, who does not sit on a golden throne and point his finger and destroy cities. No, my higher power pushes universal love on everyone - just like Jesus did. J.C. was all about the love. What loving GOD would punish/destroy his beautiful creation and keep them out of his home?

we have seen what swearing on a stack of bibles has done, shouldn't people be swearing to uphold the law not a religion?

I see problems for many xrated content to be considered suitable for kids in the bible, that's why some schools removed it for censoring when thier plan to get Mark Twain books for saying N word backfired, just because he advocated free thought and common sense or challenged people to ascertain to higher things than believing in something other than yourself
