Just curious to what you think. I'm not talking about Worship music all day long, I'm talking about other kinds of Christian music, but do you think it's wrong to listen to nonChristian music if you're a proclaimed Christian?

I'm told that LORD in small caps signifies that this is the translation of "Yahweh" (or tetragrammaton?) while God, printed conventionally indicates translation from "Elohim". Checking this out, I noticed that some words and short phrases are in italics. What does that signify?

There comes a day in everyones life where they make a choice about the mysterious of life?
-What happens after we die?
-Who or what created life?
-Does God exist?
-Why, how, when , where, what? etc etc.. many unanswered questions.

Why do so many people fall for the old "if God exists and I don't believe in him, I go to hell, but if God doesn't exist and I believe in him I lose nothing" line?

Didn't it ever occur to anyone that if you are making your choices in this life based on imaginary demands and threats of God, and there is no God, you just messed up your one and only life? I'd say that's losing something!

I've heard rumors, that " bad stuff " happens when you use them, is this true? Can anyone supply some information about it, before I use one? One time I heard my teacher say her mother used it, and wanted to see her deceased grandmother, and the next morning when she woke up, the grandmother was sitting beside her bed, she says its really Satan? If you say that god created the universe, then you MUST ask the next question, where did god come from. It is impossible for a being to be around before there was nothing around, something had to be there, so maybe that "something" was the creator of god. Then if there is a creator of god, who created that creator. An un-ending series of questions.

Why couldn't you just say that the universe has always been around? And if that is the case, then a creator is not needed. Perhaps the only ones who "invented" god were of human form.

We're the only church in the city that does not fly the United States flag in our sancuary. My pastor says some people are offended by that. I don't see what the big deal is. It's our choice. so tell me, why are some people offended by that?
