Spirituality is the awareness of one's scope in the world and recognizing the symbols in which the story of one's life is told. It does not require a belief in the supernatural or the divine, only that one has a place and a story to tell.
I am an atheist and I am deeply spiritual.

Someone can become spiritual by performing rituals to their deities. One can also be spiritual by the amount of belief they have toward their deities and how much the respect the fallen spirits.

One can become spiritual without an organized religion.
Meditate on it, that always has helped me. Ask yourself questions and search for the answers in any way you can. Focus on the positive things in life, things that give you joy and peace; things you love.

I do not believe there is a 'how to' on the subject. I think "becoming" spiritual is personal. VERY personal and thus is diverse with every individual.
I'm not sure how to explain it myself, but I kind of just am.

A spirt is a unseen force so everyone is spirtual to a degree. There are spirts of fear, there are also a spirt of love power and a sound mind God is good and get close to him threw Jesus Christ. Make sure that what you are living for is worth dying for.

you're spiritual once you are human, cuz you're born with a spirit.
you can be spiritual in the good sense, as in having a relationship with God Almighty, or you can be spiritual in the immoral sense, as in conjuring demons (evil spirits, what most people refer to as just spirits/ghosts/the deceased) or relating to the devil himself.
guess which one is the wiser choice...

First off, what is the use of believeing in something so mysterious if your never in the mystery of it? You should not pray by repition of words to God, but by the Holy Spirit that magnifies the truth in God. But the real ? is, how do you magnify the Holy Spirit within? Faith alone to certain individual who believes in God actually thinks thats enough, but faith with understanding to become steadfast within your faith in Christ is the key. Understanding means seeking truth, so be part of the mysteries of Christ by reading precept by precept in his words for through his words are treasurs that needs to be cherished.

I can never make myself spiritual. Only God can do that. I must give my self to Him and let Him work on me. When we work on our own spirituality, we are just religious, trying to reach God our own way. But God has already reached down to us by sending Jesus to die for our sins. When He chooses to forgive me and love me unconditionally, that makes me like Him....spiritual. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. He makes my fallen human spirit like His perfect holy Spirit.

Simple, that person asks the spirit of God into them with love and faith.then they listen inside them for the answers to the questions they ask, then they try their best to do Gods will.
This applys in every known religion.
