I don't.
I was raised Catholic and practiced the religion until about age twenty. I left the organized religion at that age out of disgust and disillusionment with the actions of the Catholic Church and with those in general who do bad things in the name of religion.
I still maintained an openness to spirituality and the possibility of a higher power for a couple of years, but as my education progresses, my skepticism grows. Evidence is lacking, and faith is an insufficient and tautological reason to believe.
I walk my own path - I've decided that trying to divine the existence of a divine is impossible, although I recognize that there is a chance, albeit a very small one, that a higher power exists and is merely beyond the reach of scientific inquiry (in science, failure to prove the existence of something is not the same as providing proof of its non-existence, so there remains the remote possibility that one day someone will figure out how to provide solid evidence of a god, but all the evidence we have at present presents a strong case for the contrary). This is why I am an agnostic and not an atheist - actually because I am a good scientist and skeptic, and know that in theory, anything is possible until *proven* impossible. It hasn't been *proven* that God does not exist. But there is also no proof whatsoever that he does exist, and that in itself speaks very strongly. It has also not been *proven* that the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not exist, yet no one (except for a few pirates) puts much stock into him. Therefore, if you are still with me, the mere suggestion of a possibility of God's existence is not a good reason for me to believe in him/her.
So, thanks for reading if you've gotten this far.
What I do believe is that we should all concern ourselves more with what's going on in this world, to the people around us. I'd rather work to make this world a better place than worry about the next one - so I am trying to do just that.
Think about it - if there is a God, and s/he is as loving and perfect as people say, then s/he knows that we are not perfect, and will not condemn us for not having all the answers; we cannot know. Such a god would, it would stand to reason, prefer us to love and care for each other rather than fight over his or her existence. So I stopped worrying long ago, and started concentrating on being a humanitarian.

I believe in Jehovah, God Almighty...Maker of Heaven and earth! I am sure of my faith, without a doubt in my mind, I know God created me, sent his son to die for me, and He was raised from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God ruling and judging the world.

Jeremiah 29:11- "I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

Acts 26:29- "...Short time or long-I pray to God that not only you, Agrippa, but all who are listening here to me today may become Christians as I am..."

God has done so many miracles. Jesus fulfilled so many prophecies. And after God touching my life the way He did, it would be impossible for me not to believe. My God, My Rock, My salvation, on Him alone I stand.

If mankind alone is no longer a calid term of proof, then what would you say is valid?
Personally, I don't believe in the 'One" God, like Catholics or Christians do, but the Mother of the Earth, Goddess, Gaia, any name you prefer to call her by.

I don't believe. I know,Its not so much what you beleive but who you really are. thru experience, spiritual realizations & miracles,& so very much more I Could write a book about it all, that most wouldn't believe, you have to have Faith and Love for the blessings of the spirit to work thru you.since you don't .you have no idea what I am talking about.when a person SEES and witness actual supernatural miracles.& is lead by the spirit to do certain things that turn out very well, you know something is going on outside the normal human experiance

I believe in The One True God of Creativity.
I believe in The Son of that Creativity, who walked on earth and is named Jesus.
I believe in The Spirit of God for which Creativity came into existence.

Yes. If there wasn't a God, seriously, what is the point of this life? Really? To get rich, try to be as "happy as possible" and then cease to exist when you die? To me, that is depressing, not to mention, pointless. There would be very little meaning in life if there was no God and he did not send Jesus Christ to save us less-than perfect, often stupid people.

It is easy to prove to yourself that God is imaginary.

The evidence is all around you.

Here are 50 simple proofs.

Bowling for Columbine did it to the gun culture.

Super Size Me did it to fast food.

Now The God Who Wasn't There does it to religion.

Holding modern Christianity up to a bright spotlight, this bold and often hilarious new film asks the questions few dare to ask.

Your guide through the world of Christendom is former fundamentalist Brian Flemming,
joined by such luminaries as Jesus Seminar fellow Robert M. Price, professor Richard Dawkins, author Sam Harris and historian Richard Carrier.

See the movie the Los Angeles Times calls "provocative - to put it mildly."

Hold on to your faith.

It's in for a bumpy ride

of coarse just look at nature and how it declares that there is a God.
and plus what about all those people who have been truly set free by Jesus by believing in Him so many people have been freed from smoking and drinking and if you think its fake you should have seen Glen Beck when Danny Bonaducci was on there he is being set free when he started going to church with his wife.
