your write, the bible is pretty strong on no piercings and tattoos, and here's why
okay, your a christian so i dont need to break out those Moses felt things (i loved those things)
but after moses left to the top of the mountain, remember how everyone was gettin wild and partying back down there? and they had false gods and were practicing all kinds of paganism (i think that is the word)?
so they used to mark themselves and pierce themselves and everything to give praise to their gods,
the rest is obvious
and the practice of piercing has been around a lot, the mayans used to bloodlet for their gods, and kids today are still cutting wrists for a guy, right?
i think, personally, just keep away from it. i know everyone does it, it seems normal, but hey, everyone says "g--------m" and that aint normal for God.
you know, there is no difference between the ears and the tongue, like everyone is saying
your still piercing yourself
just remember, what would Jesus do?

Well, let's see. You're a good, thoughtful Christian, you love your family and friends, you have your flaws, just like everybody else, but for the most part you live a fine, faithful life, treating everybody well, helping those less fortunate, doing the best you can. And then, of course, you die. Do you really think in the Book of Life you're going to be judged unworthy and thrown into the lake of fire for all eternity because of a tiny fragment of gold you like to wear in your mouth? Heck, wouldn't that apply to fillings as well? If Heaven is that strict, NOBODY will get in.

I don't think it's any more or less sinful than piercing your ears. It will give you a bit of a "goth" look, but I assume you don't mind that since you're already considering it. I really don't think God will care.

I think it depends on where you get it. Ears would probably be okay, but anywhere else might not be such a good idea.

Whatever else it may or may not be, it is just plain STUPID. If I were your mother, I would tell you that YES, it is against the bible. You will burn in hell. Do not do it!! Piece your ears, if you must, but no other part. It is in the OT. (Your mother will thank me!!) (and your girlfriend will too. lol.)
