i think it is ,because we were made that way. course that is ,if you believe in God as the creator and designer of everything that is made and dessing in this universe, whith a purpose, Us. why are we here?what is the purpose of life?where are we going?where do we came from? only if we realy know the personalyti of God we find the answers to all the questions of life ,and we find the purpose .but wheretofindit?. death is the end of life, there is no brain whithout a brain.death is the opposite of life

Answer this, why not? Think about it. You can believe that after death there is something great and wonderful and waiting for you, or you can think that there is nothingness, that it is the end of the road, a void. Why do people still believe that I dont know. I learned that I brain sees things in patterns, and it evolves into superstition and we want to know the mechanisim behind it. I'm a christian but this is the truth, we always want to know the mechanism behind every thing. We are so afraid of new things that it excites us into toying with it that is "human"

It fulfills some basic human needs for a lot of people.....
Humans strive first and foremost to control their environments....especially death.....
It started with pointing at the sun...not knowing what it was...so making it a God. It made it understandable.
Now we have more questions answered in a scientific/factual way...but we'll never know everything. There will always be something to point at and say "God". Fear of death and sex is what motivates most human society.........there will always be religions attached to both.

Humans feel the need to believe in God because God exists. Just like humans feel hunger for food because food exists.

The Need is in our DNA code. It is written into us, by our creator. Most people just ignore the need, and search forever for fulfillment in other ways, money, cars, sex, etc.
We are asleep after we die, the Bible refers to the unconscious state several times in both testaments. When Jesus returns he ressurects believers. God (Jehovah) (yahweh) created life. Yes God exists.
Read your Holy Bible, or go to Bible.com, abn,remnantofgod.org,etc..many bible sites on the internet, and they will answer many questions.

Humans feel the need to believe in something because it is simply human nature.
Everything that I used to believe in I was forced to reconsider one violent day. And I am highly grateful for my revelation of the truth. One that doesn't involve any religion.

They don't always. There are several primitive tribes around that really were agnostic in their beliefs and didn't worry about it much.
Mostly people chose to believe in a god to explain things they can't explain on their own. This to me is the lazy way out. It stops you from having to try to figure it out.

it gives them a sense of belonging and give their life a purpose and meaning. It helps them to identify with others who have similar beliefs and this helps them satisfy their need for attachment.

I swear I just answered this on another question. People need to believe in something so they feel their life was worthwhile and they'll be rewarded for their crappy lives after they die. No one wants to consider that this life might be your only one.
