any person in any region feels the government is discriminating against them. part of the problem is their own out look on things, part of it is the us governments need to be all things to all kinds of people. the collective rights of the majority have been under constant attack since the end of the second world war, to this day. its reflected in the courts legal interpretation of the government's law, in the need to put the rights of the one above the rights of the whole. this concept is completely alien to Christian's, because true Christian's are taught to put the needs of the other before themselves.

No, I don't think that Christians are being 'persecuted' in the US, nor do I think that Christians are being 'discriminated-against' in the US.
Not being allowed to ENFORCE ones 'Religious Dogma' onto the whole of American society (and/or the entire world) does NOT equate to being 'discriminated-against'. IMO
Some of the reasons this is perceived as 'discrimination' are, because, if anyone 'dares-to' question their religion, they then feel 'persecuted', as if merely explaining their religion is 'persecution',...mainly because they-themselves really haven't given their belief/s any serious thought.
Also, persons that have 'other'-thoughts regarding religion/s, will oftentimes cause them to feel 'persecuted' when they see that a person can have a perfectly-fine life without any 'need' for their belief-system/s.
This 'invalidates' their position about "No joy without god" etc. IMO
Also, I have personally NEVER heard-of a non-'religious' person telling a 'religious'-person, that they were going to be subjected to 'ETERNAL-TORMENT', if they continue to 'believe' in their chosen 'religion/s'.

Just because people challenge your beliefs does not mean you are being persecuted. Christians are the majority in the U.S. It's hard to be persecuted when you're the majority. Not everyone, Christians included, is going to agree with your viewpoints. Try to be a little more open and tolerant.

People feel that christians are taking over, because everything seems to be done by their standards. like saying "one country, under god" and also because we swear on the bible in court. i think christians are not discriminated against or persecuted, people just feel a lot of hostility towards them.

Why do Christians define discrinination as objecting to allowing them to worship in public places like schools and court yards? Would it be discriminating against Satanists to not allow them to display a pentagram in a courthouse?
What you are calling discrimination....like not forcing children to pray in schools.....is fighting the establishment of a Christian religion as a nation.
Discrimination is slavery (supported by and perpetuated by many religious Christians), killing Jews in every nation in Europe over a paeriod of 1700 years, etc. etc. etc.
