I think that's a dangerous assumption. God speaks through the Bible.

Sometimes, but not always. Sometimes it's just a bad chemical reaction to something you ate. If you do have a prophetic dream (and a lot of people do), then it was sent by God, because only God knows our future. There is no other way to explain prophecy, either from dreams or visions.

Your statements indicate that you need to learn how to listen, when God speaks. Simple logic dictates that if God could speak to the prophets who wrote the Bible, then God can still speak to people today.

Regards,

Chris

an assumption would be dangerous. Much like your doing now.
As for dreams: there are dreams and then there are manifestations of God during our sleep. Not the same. How do you know the difference? When God speaks to you in your sleep it comes to pass or it has a changing affect on you. You can recall the moment years later exactly as it occurred in your sleep. I have had this happen at least four times in my lifetime.

This is a good question. About a month ago, I woke up in the middle of the night from a dream. I normally do not wake up until morning. I was dreaming that God was telling me something and made me wake up. I do not think this was a normal dream, but I don't know if God was really trying to tell me something or what.

God speaks through Prayers also, as well as the Bible. I believe that when you have those feeling that something just is not right, that is God or one of His Angels speaking to you.

God said I am the same yesterday today and forever. There are numerous accounts in the Bible where God spoke through dreams. He also spoke in an audible voice and through Prophets.

God speaks to us in many ways. Through the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit, through the next song you hear on the radio, through a tract that someone brings to your doorstep, through the next book or article you read, through a comment made by a friend or stranger, through the lips of little children, and yes, even through dreams. Any inspiration you get to do good,or help someone in need, or improve yourself, or hold your tongue, or to have empathy for another, or to choose not to be offended by the words of another, or any other good thing, you can give credit to Him.

When I have dreams that are like so intense and actually about a decision I am trying to make and have been praying about, I think that is God trying to speak to me. It's up to us to listen!

Peace be with you.

Yes, Micheal speaks to men only in their dreams, the dreams are often times appear to be without substance or meaning, but they are, you must be one in Christ to understand them. or ask Gabriel to explain them to you

Michael appears to women as a person or a vision, face to face
Women can be pure of Heart. Men are evil in nature.
Was Adam really first? read the about the birth of Isaac, Jacob, John and Jesus, then read Rev 12.

The only person capable of speaking to you through your dreams is yourself.
