Notice the inspired warning of the disciple Jude. He wrote: “Beloved ones, though I was making every effort to write you about the salvation we hold in common, I found it necessary to write you to exhort you to put up a hard fight for the faith that was once for all time delivered to the holy ones.” (Jude 3) Why did Jude write this? Because he knew that individual Christians could still lose the ‘salvation they hold in common.’ He continued by saying that although God saved 'a' people from Egypt he destroyed those not showing faith. (Jude 5)

Jesus himself said: “He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life.” (John 3:36) How can we exercise faith in Jesus? Such faith is not shown by words alone. “Faith without works is dead,” says James 2:26. Yes, true faith is proved by “works,” that is, by our actions. One way to show that we have faith in Jesus is by doing our best to imitate him not just in what we say but also in what we do.—John 13:15.

My mom was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and they found a spot on her liver and it was cancer. I live next to my mother and my step-brother lives across the street. Well my brother "Jim" came over to visit our mom the other night and he said he saw a man standing in the middle of the street, in front of mom's house, dressed all in black and holding a pole when he asked "what are you doing" the "man" didn't say anything or move. When Jim got inside mom's house he told dad about that "man" and when dad looked out his window he was gone. I was freaked out by this and not sure who or what it was. I did tell all my neighbors about this "man" to keep an eye out just in case. What do you think it was?

It seems like where ever you go someone has a MySpace account. People have found friends from the 6th grade that they did not see for 10 years .. people also make new friends. Some use it to network. It is even used as an instrument to encourage others.

On the other hand .. there are some perverts that are looking to meet with young kids to be sexualy immoral with them. Some have even been killed while meeting through MySpace.

That said .. Do you think MySpace is Good or Bad for christians ??

Under attack, Christians fear militant Buddhism

[TamilNet, Sunday, 10 December 2006, 03:29 GMT]
Amid growing violence in Sri Lanka that Church leaders have likened to the 'killing fields' of Cambodia, Christians in the island are facing increased persecution from Buddhist extremists, Release International reported this week. Christians in Sri Lanka are appealing to the international community for help, RI which monitors persecution of churches around the world, said. Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) also says Christians in Sri Lankan are facing more intense persecution as mob violence becomes an increasingly visible trend in the country.

Please note, I DO understand this does not line up with Buddhist teachings.

Just pointing out the errors in making sweeping generalizations of any group. Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, or Atheist.

What do yout think?
