According to scripture - NO!
Lets end this senseless debate. The world is judging the religious establisment that is christianity by our actions such as the crusades or the hypocrites they've met.
Lets get one thing straight, the followers, being imperfect, are not the best examples of christianity. History and present times proves this to be correct.
However, to judge the purity of the gospel by the actions of men is wrong. Judge it based on its own merits, not by few who follow it.
The crusades were wrong. Plain and simple.
Religious establishment, that is, to institutionalize the following of christ, is wrong.
Christians judging others is WRONG.
Christians hating others is WRONG.
Christians establishing governments is WRONG.
Christians forcing beliefs on people is WRONG.
Christians institutionalizing the following of Jesus is WRONG.
Agree or disagree? If you disagree, prove me wrong with scripture. Not one verse, but a whole, cohesive idea.
