Abortion is a women’s issue. Men have no right to even be involved.

First, people who think men have no right to be involved in the abortion issue should be careful what they ask for. Polls consistently find that women oppose abortion at a higher rate than men, they are more opposed to government funding of abortion, more active in the pro-life movement, and are more likely to favor banning abortion outright. It is abundantly clear that if men were excluded, support for abortion would plummet.

Second, men don’t need to be given the right to speak out against abortion, they already have a responsibility to do so. Real men don’t just stand around with their hands in their pockets while helpless children are slaughtered for money. Third, the pro-choice crowd never tells men who support legal abortion to keep quiet, and they have never said that the 1973 Supreme Court had no right to be involved in the Roe v. Wade decision, despite the fact every member was male.

They also don’t seem to mind that the overwhelming majority of abortionists are men, and they never say anything about the male “escorts” outside the abortion mills or even the men who force women into having abortions. Evidently, the only men these people want to be censored are those who think women deserve better than abortion.

Finally, if the argument is that men shouldn’t be allowed to participate simply because they can’t get pregnant, what about women who can’t get pregnant? Should only young, sexually active, fertile women who are not practicing birth control be allowed to have an opinion about abortion?

All religions should get together and procalim a 'peace on earth' day - denying their politicians. All religions should walk hand in hand and denounce all form of violence. Stuff the terrorists, stuff the politicians - power to the people - or am I only dreaming

I cannot decide to believe or disbelieve - I'm the obligatory straddler.

When I listen to some religious figures I am filled with hope and I feel at peace. As soon as I'm off by myself I think it's all hooey.

Is this behavior better than outright atheism as I would at least be in the lobby in heaven and never in hell?

psalms 37:29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.
proverbs 2:21 For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. 22 As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.

I got into a webpage one day reading about DNA and somehow ended up looking into pages about Human ET's and Starseeds, and its very intriguing, but most of the traits seem to me like almost everyone could call themselves a starseed?
I was wondering if anyone actually looks into this kind of thing and how to know more about it, cause I can't stop reading everything I can find about the subject of "human et's" and "starseeds" cause though most of the charecteristics seem common, some of them give me that chills down my spine feeling because I can relate...

And why do you deny the religion of your Messiah? Has paganism spread like wildfire that threatens to kill the very religion that your God was in his life here on earth? Has the Roman Empire grasped it's hold on conquering the world?

To those who call themselves atheists:
Do you believe there was a person named Jesus who preached and died on the cross but did not go to heaven because heaven/God does not exist?

Via Negativa "Negative Theology" or the "Negative Way", says that God is beyond comprehension and thus not suited to language which attatches to God any positive characteristics. Thus, one can only speak about God by saying what God is not. Even saying This is found in many traditions, from Christianity to Hinduism, mostly mystical traditions based on direct experience of some ineffible, boundless phenomena within. Some of these mystics say that using the word "God" implies more than one can say (or using the word "theology"), and they make clear that the idea such a God exists or does not exist is too reductive. Since this is reportedly an experience, and there are cross cultural reports of these experiences, it fits the definition of "objectively substantiated" found in all of the humanities (see "soft objectivity"). What do you think?

Is the Bible the true words of God?
Why is it that there is old testament and old testament?

If they really love Jesus, why don't they follow Islam which is actual words of Jesus(PBUH)

► The Trinity, in fact, was established by councils which convened in the fourth century more than three hundred years after Jesus. Emperor Constantine wanted a religion that appealed to him personally. He promoted Jesus from the rank of a prophet to the rank of a god!! Thus Jesus became God by decree and the Holy Spirit became God by another decree! They made a compromise: "God is one" to please monotheists and "God is three" to please polytheists. The final output was "three in one" to please no one and displease no one. A religion by voting!! A vague god: ONE if you want him one. and THREE if you want him three, and ONE IN THREE if you wish or THREE IN ONE if you prefer it

This is the basic story I get from Christianity. God was lonely so he creates existence. He created angels to worship him and do stuff for him but he feel like they just do stuff for him because he makes them do stuff for him.

So because God is unsure if they angels really love him he creates man to see if one of his creations would choose to love him.

Is that basically what the story is?

Serious question: I am a psychotherapist and my contact with people of all religions has lead me to see religious thought as frankly beneath us. People deserve better than to limit their minds with religion.

To seek the mystical properties of God:

" the pursuit of achieving communion or identity with, or conscious awareness of, ultimate reality, the divine, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition, or insight; and the belief that such experience is an important source of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.

The term "mysticism" is often used to refer to beliefs which go beyond the purely esoteric practices of mainstream religions, while still being related to or based in a mainstream religious doctrine. For example, Kabbalah is a significant mystical movement within Judaism, and Sufism is a significant mystical movement within Islam. Gnosticism refers to both a mystical movement within Christianity and various mystical sects which arose out of Christianity. Some have argued that Christianity itself was a mystical sect that arose out of Judaism. While Eastern religion tends to find the concept of mysticism redundant, non-traditional knowledge .....
