Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name

Ex 15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Ex 17:16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

Ex 32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour

Num 33:52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
33:55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
33:56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

Grace(not law) unto you, and peace(not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

No soldiers required if the truth be kNOWn: "Christ" of J->C (is "the end of the law": Romans 10:4) "is" our "peace" (already)who hath(past tense) abolished the enmity(law): Ephesians 2:14,15. Consider how foolish a Salvation Army "WAR" Cry is. What war, if Christ is already our peace?

Warfare is destructive, and ruin-us,
as destructive as Law(worketh wrath).

Grace is constructive, not destructive(law).
"Grace unto you" ... "from God our Father".

Friend: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee... GRACE
Enmity: I will forsake you, the city, your fathers... LAW
Christ is our "peace" who "abolished" the Enmity(LAW)

War: what is it good for? Absolutely nothing! YouTube:

War does not end strife, it sows it.
War does not end hatred, it feeds it.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The ten commandments are always a good place to start. The first one would be particularly informative in helping them to overcome the mental turmoil of whether or not they are doing the right thing.

I feel this is particularly appropriate :

Peter : 2:18 Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.

Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

He shouldn't be wasting his time on foolish prayers when he could instead be firing at the scum that is trying to kill him. wasting time preying to god could cost him his life if the second he took to prey is the one that could have taken out the enemy.
