Think about it, 1000 years ago most people had no access to education and douldn't even read. Their only hope for a world that made any sort of sense was to put faith in what their local priest told them. On top of that science was sufficiently stunted to be almost impotent. So all in all, it was very easy to believe the Jesus myth.

Today, science has explained our world and universe in great detail and those details conflict directly with the bible. Couple that with dramaitc growth in literacy rates and wdespread access to education and it seems like it is getting tougher and tougher to get into heaven.

Why is that?

From all the books that i have read, their is no listing of her following or the rites that she used, she believe that woman was equal with that of man, and i believe this is what made her popular, concitering most woman were slaves or servents to that of man. their is not much that brings us any closer insight , that what few writting were left, (makeing it up as we go) . As for Ra, their turm used for that of the nature around us, Ra was that of the SUN, the big ball in the sky, so was this God, in one aspect we could say that it is, in that without it all would be dark and their would indeed be no life on this planet, but as a God (literal) speaking, NO

That would suggest that the dinosaurs didn't exist... but what about all the bones? Are dinosaur bones left here so people would doubt God and in turn, stop believing? Does God WANT you to go to hell?

throughout history we've always had them, egyptian, grecko-roman,, celtic, mayan--where are the gods of the new millenium? where are the gods of america, for that matter, since no god worshipped in america actually came from this country? Isn't it time to update? We need gods that can relate to our modern lives, the stresses and pressures of todays society instead of gods more comfortable washing their clothes on a rock by the riverbank.

The Bible describes them as if they were badges of honor.

"After he left Hebron, David took more concubines and wives in Jerusalem, and more sons and daughters were born to him." (II Samuel 5:13)

Solomon had 300 wives and 700 concubines.

He's insecure: He needs people to worship him...
He's incompetent: He needs people to do his will on Earth because he apparently can't do it himself...
He's inconsistent: The Bible, his so-called "Word" is riddled with inaccuracies and contradictions...
He has no authority over, or respect from, his creations: even Adam and Eve couldn't follow his simple rules to live in paradise...
He's bored: He created us for entertainment and to have some servants in Heaven...
He's clearly always making mistakes...
He can't even get everyone to agree he exists, let alone agree on his message and plan (hence, the myriad of religions)...

This doesn't sound like a very God-like, omnipotent, all-knowing, supreme being to me.....so is the Bible wrong? Are all religions wrong? Because this is their "God". Is God even a god? Or maybe some minor diety? Perhaps the spoiled child of a REAL God that above him? Maybe "God" is actually the True GOD's son and Jesus was True GOD's Grandson? Great-grandson?

It was drummed into my head from the time I was a toddler that purchasing a lottery is evil. Now I feel the obligation to pass on the prohibition down onto my grandchildren who have asked for Biblical support for the assertion. I have read the Bible cover to cover in different translations at least five times, but still have to come up with a verse to support my "advice". Please help me!

Then what do you call Jesus?

Just in case you hadn't considered this... uhm... that's what "Jesus" did. (In actuality, I imagine it was probably Paul that declared it, but regardless)

How is your "religion" not a cult? Jesus was a man that declared himself the son of a god. How is this different from any other cult leader in history? And the number of cult members is not significant here...
