The bible is already a book many fight shy to read through. Do you have the time to read the gospel of Mary or Judas. These books are never included in the bible because some wise men ask you not to read them. Frankly do you read every book that is recommended. So don't waste you time searching for these books. If there are the best readers, you would have got them much earlier. Read DA Vince Code or surf the Internet for more information on Christianity like bibleprobe, evolution/creation. If in the end, you get more confuse than you set out to do, read the Bible.

There are plenty of those resources on the net. Do a google search on them.
Keep in mind they are gnostic gospels written a long time after the fact by people other than Mary and Judas.
