King Kong Jr.: Yes, but doesn't god know what people will do even if they have free will since he knows everything? How can you be disappointed when you know what will happen?

Heaven's Messenger: So you say god is not disappointed with your actions, but is disappointed when you make the wrong choice. Are you saying that a choice is not an action?

Dianne C: If god knows someone is headed for destruction then why did he create that person? He loves us right? Why does he then create someone who he knows will go to hell and cause unnecesary pain?

I don't know that God is disappointed except in the choice of paths to take . Everything is part of a plan. With reincarnation, everything is like a school here with lessons that we all must learn. We all have choices to make and depending on that choice we get an A+ or F-. If you get an F-, you keep going back to the same grade in school, learning the same lesson, until you get an A+. Unfortunately sometimes the A+ student may be the one teaching the F- student what they have already learned. That we are all part of the One essence of God and we cannot hurt another without distantly hurting a part of ourselves.

Freedom to obey that sounds nice. if everything is known than why is everything in existence? because reruns are fun to watch 3am when you're lonely?

If things are known than the future has a set path and NO free will. We can't change a set future. Why have the threat of afterlife if there is nothing you can do even with the knowledge since everything is known.

If knowledge conflicts with the known than it really isn't known. It is an alternating variable and defeats it's purpose. It's as good as human estimating.

Because it happened.

A state of disappointment in no way implies that you are unsure of the outcome. You can know someone is headed to destruction and be disappointed. We make our choices. God knows our choices before we make them.

That's why He is God, and His ways are not like our ways, and His thoughts are not like our thoughts.

It's impossible to fully understand God, and once man gets that in his thick skull, he will quit questioning and doubting and just accept that God is God and we're not.

You haven't thought through the options concerning creating people with or without free will.

A more intelligent question is, what other options does God have regarding free-will/omniscience and what are their consequences?

God is not disappointed by anything; far from it. Why have you assumed this?

He's disappointed because the fact that that person has free will and therefore has the ability to make the conscious decision NOT to commit murder, yet still commits it!

God is omniscient, He knows your would be thoughts, words and deeds, even your hearts desire.
He is not disappointed with Himself of creating you even with your worst development...but disappointed in you in choosing the wrong way, murdering your brother in God, sinning to Him by destroying His other creation, choosing satan than Him, choosing hell than everlasting happiness and paradise.
You`ve been abusive of His given free-will to everyone including YOU, you stained and crippled your guardian angel and your own spirit given by God for your well-being and holiness.
You are destroying yourself, not God. So, never challenge God, because you`re just fooling yourself. He is LOVE & everything.

That is man's assumption. But I can tell you that God is never disappointed with your actions for he knows them before you do them. God's disappointment is with your choice of the two roads he has made available to you.

Christians will do some mental contortions about this and state something about "free will" (see peeps' response), but essentially you have illustrated one of the many logical impossibilities of an omni-everything god.

God isn't disappointed. People tell you that God is disappointed so that they can get you to follow them and give them money.

He knows that we are all sinners but we have a freedom of choice. Freedom of coming to Him or shunning Him. Freedom of obeying Him or disobeying. And Yes God knows everything He knows we will sin before we do it that does not mean we do not have the choice not to sin.
