*Wait*

Sitting on the porch
Looking up at a palm tree swaying in the wind
Feeling the soft, gentle wind blowing on me
Hearing the sound of traffic
People working
Sweet songs the birds sing

The clouds are grey
the sky is white
the sun is ready
to shine on another country;
sitting here pondering
wishing I was back in IC

All my wonderful memories I had to leave behind
I ask God why should this be
why did I have to leave IC
it was so wonderful there
this is not fair

God shines his light
and whispers in the wind to me:
"I have need of you here.
You might not see it yet,
but I do.
I will give you wonderful memories here:
the blessings of friends.
You might not see it yet,
but you will.

Have patience my child, it will come.
Do not be afraid,
I am here.
Don't feel lonely
I's here.
I always will be."

The wind has stopped
my heart is in peace
I just have to wait and see.

God obviously not perfect. Exodus 20:5 clearly states "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;" God says he is a jealous God and will harm the children, grand children, and great grand-children for the father's sins. How is it possible God is perfect, but yet is jealous (of other gods maybe....see Exodus 20:3 clearly states you are not to worship other gods (plural) above him)? How is God all good, but yet will punish innocent children for things they have not done? Those are his words, how can Christians justify that?

Serious question. I know the Bible says that the body is a temple of God and not our own, so we shouldn't defile it with things such as drugs/alcohol etc.

But when you look at it another way, Jesus turned water in wine did He not? I mean He could have turned it into fruit juice or anything right?? But He chose something alcoholic.

Regarding weed smoking.. a lot of people do it these days. I expect the Christian attitude to be pretty condemning towards it - but you have to wonder. I mean it is a natural plant that God created, it can inspire creativity and in some cases can enhance a spiritual experience.

So would God approve of it?

I am interested to hear from people that truly believed in one particular faith, but who have subsequently chosen to live their lives by a different faith. What triggered it and what are the good things about your new faith?

Take a pair of elephants. After they got off the ark, let's say they had 2 babies, a boy and a girl. Who did they mate with?

Each other?

That's incest!

You mean to tell me that every single species on Earth is the product of incest?

Impossible.

The genes of all the animals would have been so corrupted 2 or 3 generations down the line that every species on Earth would have sucomb to genetic diseases and died off.

And that's a FACT.

“Also take for yourself wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread of them for yourself. During the number of days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it. 10 And your food which you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it. 11 You shall also drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink. 12 And you shall eat it as barley cakes; and bake it using fuel of human waste in their sight.”
13 Then the LORD said, “So shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.”
14 So I said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Indeed I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.”
15 Then He said to me, “See, I am giving you cow dung instead of human waste, and you shall prepare your bread over it.”

In Zechariah 6 v 12
It talks about the 2 Messiahs one a Priest one a King

Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: for he shall branch out from his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD. 13 It is he who shall build the temple of the LORD and shall bear royal honor, and shall sit and rule on his throne. And there shall be a priest on his throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both."'
In ' The Testament of the 12 Patriarchs ..it says
'For The Lord will raise up from levi someone as high priest, and from Judah someone as King.
Patriarch Judah himself declares...' For to me The Lord gave the Kingship, and to him the priesthood, and he set the the kingship under the priesthood '

Nietzsche said that our "slave moralities" would be the death of us, was he right?

Deeply consider this, after all, Nietzsche was no dummy, so his arguments deserve careful consideration.

What moralities was he speaking of? Examples: "love you enemy"; "the meek shall inherit"; "turn the other cheek". This morality is mainsteam in America, in other words, whether followed or not, almost all Americans would say that this "is" morality or that this morality is the right one.

Fred would say "America was built on rugged pioneers and hungry hard working immigrents. These people were practical and did what was necessary to survive. Christian morality played no part in their success, but Christian morality is playing a great part in our decline, because we continue to raise protected generation after more protected generation under the 'meekness' doctrines of Christianty. This directly creates the cowardly and naive segement we call THE LEFT."

If "God" literally "created" us all as equals, than why are we so obviously NOT? Why would he expressly create so many masses of people who are exept from salvation and redemption,

because, isn't that the whole point of having us here in his grand 'soul test' here on earth?

How do you reason this out?

You say that the Bible is absolute truth and you use it to justify your desired laws against homosexuality.

Yet, whenever someone points out that masturbation is a sin in the Bible, more often than not you say that it's not a sin anymore because that was a cultural thing. When someone asks why you're against polygamy, you say the same thing - polygamy was God's law when there were fewer people, but not now. Or when someone points out that Paul said women should be silent, obediant, and shouldn't cut their hair, you say that THOSE laws were cultural but that laws against homosexuality transcend culture and are true for everyone.

Can you please tell me how a book can be "absolute truth" and yet have huge sections that only apply to certain cultures?

Can you please tell me how you can be certain which rules are cultural (laws against divorce, laws against eating pork, laws for marrying many woman, laws for keeping slaves) and which rules transcend culture?
