the right to take life ? Do you see how it's twisted in the latter case to take the life of another, not their own ?

Matthew 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took BREAD, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, TAKE, EAT; THIS IS MY BODY.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

JOHN 6:48
"I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, "HOW CAN THIS MAN GIVE US (HIS) FLESH TO EAT ?" ........ Then many of his disciples who were listening said, "THIS SAYING IS HARD, WHO CAN ACCEPT IT?" Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, he said to them, "Does this shock you? What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT GIVES LIFE, while the flesh is of no avail. THE WORDS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE"

God is part of the human soul. We do not know at what point the soul and the body unite. It could be at the moment of "quickening" or from the beginning. The problem of abortion is a very complex one that can not be distilled to a black and white, yes/no system. Even in a court of law there are "mitigating" circumstances. Also the laws of God are not enforceable in a Government of and from the earth. This is separation of Church and State at its best, since not all people believe the same thing. The unborn are not subject to the laws of man and therefor not subject to the laws of the State. For all of these reasons we have "choice", the only rational way to handle this.

A woman saying, "This is my body" has the right to make that claim. She is actually telling the truth and not speaking in riddles. In my opinion, that has nothing to do with Jesus' exhortation to his followers to partake in the symbolic cannibalism that is Communion.

Jesus is referring to the Body of Christ, not the human body. The Bible is a major source for misquotes by the supporters of Satan. Satan loves to discredit Christ and Christianity.
