I saved thousands of dollars on my God insurance by switching to Geico.

Edit: I'm not offended by her question at all, I think it was very creative.

I cannot control how the insurance companies word their documents. Just because some insurance writer somewhere deems a flood, earthquake, etc., as an "act of god" doesn't make it true, and I'm not so foolish to refuse insurance coverage because of their stupidity.

Religious people keep asking how others can be atheists so I’ll give you the exact answer so you will finally understand. Humanity is a tribal species. There is a period in our development where the mores and beliefs of our tribe are imprinted on us and the brain actually rewires itself to make these mores and beliefs a permanent part of our thought process. With most people the beliefs are provided by the religion of our parents and to a lesser extent the ethnic culture we are born into. The critical ages are 5 through 13. If for some reason a person gets through this critical period without being imprinted they grow into adulthood with a mind that uses logic and reason to cope with the world around them rather than imprinting. I know it’s difficult for the religious to accept due to their imprinting but religion is illogical and absurd and will be rejected if a person is able to examine it using logic and reason. Because the brain is actually rewired for religion it is almost impossible for the religious to comprehend a brain not imprinted. Have a nice day!

No, I dont have insurance... If I did I would certainly ask them to change that particular comment to "Acts of Nature"

"I believe in God, only I spell it Nature"... Frank Lloyd Wright.

PS I am a spiritual agnostic

notice that no one needs to have insurance from "acts of atheists", just from acts of god, why is that?

First of all, "acts of god" is just a saying, unless you're one of those nutcases that believes that God actually, intentionally, murdered all those people with hurricane Katrina.

Second of all, most insurance companies don't provide insurance against "acts of god" as it's too unpredictable and costly.
