He didn't! Whenever we scrutinize the bible from a scientific perspective as opposed to the proper moral and spiritual perspective, we usually find a lot of hooey. With the current biomass of all living creature at 75 billion tons, and genetic variance so large, even we, with science and computers and high-tech communication and collaboration haven't discovered every creature on our fine rock. When religious folks start talking about the science behind the religion, a lot of us serious scientists are left confused as to why they even bother.
A few things to consider if my sources have not completely convinced you. Can you build a boat large enough to contain 2 of each creature without the boat structure becoming unstable? How would extremely large and extremely tiny creatures be transported? What about creatures with extremely ephemeral lives? What about creatures who need incredibly specific habitats?
When religion and science square off in science's domain, science wins. So remember, if you must have a religion, use it as a spiritual guide, not a creed that should guide public policy, personal interactions, or choice.

Well, I am pretty sure he took baby animals, so they didn't take up much room. Then I would say that back then there probably wasn't a huge variety of animals. I don't believe in the evolution that says everything came from mud, but I do beleive that evolution is real, like I believe the house cat came from a tiger possibly and a dog could have come from a wolf. Anyhow, he didn't take water or air creatures so that also helped. This is my opinon, but who really knows.

with the lord by his 600 year old side, anything was possible.
Not only did he gather all of these animals, he also magically knew and collected the diets that they would require for the weeks to come. After that, he condensed the food and the animals to 1/15th of their original size so that he could fit them. Also he and his family were able to move at the speed of sound so that they could care for these animals on a daily basis. Oh yeah, they didn't sleep either.

Back then men thought where they were to be the whole world and were afraid they would fall off at the end of the world because they thought it was flat.
The flood did not cover the entire earth but the entire area where they were.

There may have been elements of truth, but, like most tales from that era, there was exaggeration in order to have a moral.

...In Genesis 7, the Bible tells us this:
...7 Then Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him entered the ark because of the water of the flood.
...8 Of clean animals and animals that are not clean and birds and everything that creeps on the ground,
...9 there went into the ark to Noah by twos, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
...............and in verses 14-15............
...14 they and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, all sorts of birds.
...15 So they went into the ark to Noah, by twos of all flesh in which was the breath of life.
...It says they went into the ark to Noah - God caused to go in the ark.

I think the earth was in Pangea form, so it was one huge continent. During and/or after the flood, the tectonic plates began to break up and drift, and along with them, certain species. As you know, many species like to be in herds or family groups.

According to some ****. Animals were suposedly told to go in the arc by god. Noah did nothing to get the animals in. The animals suposedly walked in by themselves.
